So I was reading an article on Terell Owens' first practices as a Cowboy and it got me thinking - how does everyone think we'll do against Dallas this year?
Obviously we swept them last year, and the 35-7 route goes down in history as one of my all-time favorite sports moments that brings tears to me eyes. But how improved are they this season (if at all)? Do we sweep again? Split? (God forbid) get swept ourselves?
I'm honestly not sure what I think - TO is the big, obvious difference over last year, but I don't recall our D struggling with him that much when he was an Eagle. Didn't we limit him to 3-4 catches for 30 or so yards on several occasions? Maybe I have selective memory, but I don't recall getting scorched by him much in the past.

I think T.O. is already scared of ST. And if he's not, then he will be once we play each other. I think T.O. is soft, and he won't perform well when he is worrying about ST.

I was thinking the same thing. Springs has defended him well in the past. TO will get his scores eventually. What we don't want is for him to have a career day at our expense. If we can limit him to <100 yards and 1 score at each meeting, I feel we have been successful and have a good chance to win the game.

TO (vs WAS, 2004)
2 for 24 and a TD
6 for 46
randy moss
5 for 66 and a TD (2004 viking)
3 for 40 (2005 raider) - collins messed up, randy could have had a 60yard TD catch, but the pass was weak armed and he had to fall back into the coverage he had easily beaten to try and get it.
ST also has a habit of punching TO and shoving him out of bounds often, which owens clearly doesn't like it, and that's a good thing.

You have to think that between Taylor and Arch that T.O. will get hit early and often when they meet him in week 2. I would not even mind a late hit early if it gets T.O. to thinking "Where is Sean?" Terry Glenn was just running around scared in that 2nd meeting in December. I am not guarranting anything, but I think we will give the Cowboys all they want.

A minor correction is due sir! It is e-girls, cowgirls, and g-nomes. So, from here on out, please use the politically incorrect denunciation or any derivation thereof! Do not, under any circumstances give any quarter to the enemy, and never give them anything other than total derision, and feel free to spew volumous amounts of venom in their direction! Spitting is allowed in this forum, but only toward the enemy! Caution, however, cursing is frowned upon by the computer guru in the sky overhead!
Of course we sweep again, however the first encounter will be much like the last one from 05. The second encounter might be closer, but the outcome will be decided by the 3rd Quarter.
TO will have had his falling out with man-breasts before our second encounter, so he will be a total non-factor in that game, and you already know how the first game will go.
The mediots are enamored with TO, not because he is a playmaker, but a headline maker!
Ignore the mediots!

I think Jason Witten will have a more productive year. Julius Jones is a ? because of the newly built o-line. I dont see their o-line coming out and dominating right away..... building an o-line takes time..... just look at the skins o-line they have come a long way. Dallas is still a couple years away from doing much and it all starts with the o-line and they are now just starting to rebuild it.

I just hope Taylor will be allowed to play in the first game in order to instill the fear in TO that he has in the past.
