Poll: Redskins Record 06-07DCsports 06-01-2006, 12:21 AM Come on man 9 and under..........Party Pooper's are really not needed, so lets be seriuos, What do you really think their record is gonna be? GTripp0012 06-01-2006, 01:10 AM i agree with 11-5 do you think its good enough to win the east?Yes, it is, asssuming the victories are key. You have to win divisional games to do so. 12-4 or 13-3 should win it regardless of the losses. (which of course will be Dallas, TB, and Phili as I said in April. Too soon?) 13-3, methinks. But that could be much lower if we get a key injury. I'm not talking Brunell. Maybe Portis, Washington, Griffin, or Thomas. mooby 06-01-2006, 01:14 AM Come on man 9 and under..........Party Pooper's are really not needed, so lets be seriuos, What do you really think their record is gonna be? I'll say 10-6, i'm not much for making predictions, as 90 percent of all of them turn out to be wrong, and there are so many reasons we could fail. We've seen it in the past how our free agent moves don't work out, or injuries hurt us, or some other excuse. How many of us could honestly predict that the redskins would start out 5-6 last year, win five straight to make the playoffs, and have Portis and Moss both go over 1450 yards in the season? I think our record could go anywhere from 8-8 to 13-3. gibbsisgod 06-01-2006, 02:21 AM 13-3, methinks. But that could be much lower if we get a key injury. I'm not talking Brunell. But I do feel 11-5 or 10-6 is about right. We dont need home, the Steelers showed us that. That Guy 06-01-2006, 04:02 AM 10-6, possibly 11-5... the division's just gotten a lot tougher and we probably won't go 5-1 again. Big C 06-01-2006, 04:02 AM 11-5 i think LRT 06-01-2006, 06:01 AM Super Bowl runs are lightning in a bottle. Each time the Skins have had one, even though the stage had been set, it came as a little bit of surprise and from some unexpected catalysts. I think this team has the stage set - the core group has been here long enough now to have bought into the Gibbs way, we've kept most of our key players and leaders here and we've added a few new contributors. Will we catch lightning in a bottle? Hard to say, but we could. And, if do, 12-4 or better looks real doable. The five games that concern me the most at this point are @Dallas on 9/17, @NYG on 10/8, @Indy on 10/22, @ Phily on 11/12 and @TB on 11/19. Of the five I see us winning at least one. If we really do catch fire, we may even get away with two or three wins out of the bunch. HTTR BrudLee 06-01-2006, 11:06 AM I was hoping for a poll asking whether we should have a poll. Not without some debate, Matty. I'm up for a poll as to whether polls would be necessary for such a move. BigSKINBauer 06-01-2006, 11:09 AM What, may just ended right? We are a little over 100 days to our kickoff to the season so I'll just keep in all good fun and go 16-0. |
