Me too - the tragedy of that year is that was probably the greatest Redskins team of all time, and it was a shocker that we did not win. It all changed with that Theismann INT.

But what a game it was. If it were not for the "Golden 2nd Quarter" (as someone here put it) the record would have stood out even more.
Now he is just a foot note.

He is really lucky that he only got two and a half years. They usually don't mess around with cocaine distribution. He would be outta jail before Sean Taylor if the complete nightmare scenario plays itself out.

My high schools baseball coach was the chain man at RFK throughout the 80's up through the early 90's. He told us that Timmy Smith had legendary stupidity. He was incapable of keeping the plays straight in his head. He was constantly being reminded what to do on the field. I don't know if this is BS or not but I've heard the story so many times I've just believed it.

Anyone else heard anything similar?
