I usually don't get too attached to one particular song, but usually one genre of music. It'll go from Metal to Rock to Alternative to 80s/First Wave to Country to Rap/Hip Hop/R&B to Folk/Jimmy Buffett/Surf

I've been listening to a lot of New Wave stuff lately (First Wave on Sirius, take WHFS's playlist from the late 70s into the mid 80s and there you have what they play).

The 2 songs that i'm kinda attached to lately is Buckcherry's "Crazy Bitch" and Lupe Fiasco "Kick Push".

I get cranked up anytime I hear Led Zep.

Amen! "In My Time of Dying", "How Many More Times", & "Celebration Day" always get me riled. The "In My Time of Dying" off the live DVD just shreds.

And a few others that I've heard recently, so I can actually remember what they are...

Johnny Cash - Cocaine Blues
Mothers of Invention - My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama
Stones - Anything from Exile on Main Street
McLusky - Lightsabre Cocksucking Blues
Ray Charles - I've Got News For You

I'm a Macarena guy myself.

That song gets me jacked everytime!

Anything by Ricky Martin is pretty rockin' too.

Right now I have the song "Dare" by the Gorillaz blasting through my headphones to drown out the annoying girls that I work with. Yesterday I was listening to Pink Flloyd pretty loud when they were getting on my nerves, the clocks at the beginning of the song Time scared half the people in my office and I think my hearing is significantly worse today.

I sweat that Big 80s station at my house on Friday nights. We have it blaring out on the deck all weekend.

Bah. New music these days.

Until somebody mentioned Dire Straits and Led Zepplin, I hadn't recognized most of the artists that have been mentioned.

But then, I'm still living in the 1980's as far as my music taste goes -- as evidenced by my theme song: "I Don't Care Anymore" by Phil Collins.
