It's never too early to be a blind homer!

I guess I'm a color-blind homer. I see only Burgundy and Gold with little pieces of silver and blue splattered about.

After years of being out of the running until last season, I can understand your reluctance to project our success. You can't say who is going to win the Super Bowl before the season, but you can look at what has transpired since last year and make an educated guess.

A team with a very strong defense should have a stronger one with the addition of Carter and Archuleta and McIntosh.

A team with a good offense that was in great need of improving the wide receiver position has added Randle-El and Lloyd, and Gibbs has ego-lessly hired Saunders because he has had his hand on the pulse of NFL offense continuously for many years now with tremendous success. In addition, we have the talented Campbell with a year's experience and Collins with all of his experience in this offense to back up Brunell in case of injury.

We have made a number of other solid personnel moves as well.

To me, once the team has a chance to integrate the changes in personnel and offensive strategy, and as long as Sean Taylor wins his case, I can't see how Seattle, Carolina, New York, or Dallas can say that they can have the kind of complete team we will, with the sort of leadership that we have under Coach Gibbs and the staff.

Anyway, I know if I am another team, the one I would least like to face if it was playing at near its potential would be the Redskins.

I have to say I love the enthusiasim here but I am hearing a lot of "We are the best team in the league" and "We are the team to beat". It is only mid May. I certainly feel we have improved with our free agent aquisitions and like where we are headed, but like some one said..."the other teams were not standing still while we were signing players". Looks like once again, after years of mediocrity we will be in the best division in football and that in and of itself is going to be a tough 6 games. The Cowboys and Giants are not going to be pushovers in our house or theirs and Philly is the great unknown at this point.
Lets take it a day at a time and let Gibbs and Saunders and the rest of the staff get our boys in mental and physical condition. Come August and September, all the "We are the best" talk here will hold a lot more weight.
I am looking forward to a great year, but hockey is not even over yet. Come September we will know if the building years have finally brought us to the "Pinky Finger" year!!!

what I want to know is, why did they stop selling Skins Zubas pants? my old pair doesn't fit anymore and I need something to wear this season.

I take that back, if they 'fit' like they did four years ago (I'm the short guy second from the left with the stupid looking hat and the 40oz) then they should 'fit' this season too...

ps - I haven't looked at this picture in like 3 years (this was Darrell's last game) but is my dad, the guy on the far left who looks like Theismann, giving the shocker sign?

ok, maybe its not to bad live, if someone gives you free tickets. and buys all your beers. and all your food. and sends a limo to pick you up. and if the limo has atleast two strippers in it. and if the strippers are twins from austraila. and if you stop by a 7-11 and send the twins in to get you more beer and a lottery ticket. and if its the winning numbers for a $30+ million jackpot. and w/ that kind of $ you could buy the limo and hire the strippers full time. :headbange
