I didn't hear what was said but I find all this a load of Sh*t. I have gone to many Redskins games over the years, mostly at Fed X, and I dont get what the hell he is saying. Name any stadium in the NFL that sells out 90K+ everyweek.......thats right, there isn't one. And to think there were more Dallas fans at the game than redskins fans, that is just plain wrong. I was there and had to scream as load as I could for the guy next to me to hear what I was saying. Maybe he is just trying to get us all hyped up for next season, but to say we are not a football town, that is down right freakin nuts. Whether its RFK, or Fed X (the big Ugly) all of the Redskins games have been sold out for many many many years. If its not a football town, how come the Redskins are the richest sports franchise in the world. how come we are the only billion dollar sports team. How come our merchandice is one of the biggest sellers. sorry BMitch, I like you, but that is totally inaccurate.

He was incorrect. Dallas (and Philly) fans make the trip, and show up better than any other visitors in recent years, but last year it was nuts. Certainly 80+% Skins fans, and it was so loud you could actually see the yelling lines coming out of people's mouths, much like this:

My yelling lines were so big it was hitting the Cowboy fans' heads in front of me. That night was definitely a legendary night.

Yeah the whole "not a football town" thing is pretty funny. So if it's not a football town then PLEASE tell me what kind of town it is when EVERYTHING must bow down to the Redskins. Basketball, baseball, hockey, soccer, or whatever else may go on here doesn't hold a candle to the Skins. While they were a losing franchise they still sold out ! When he was in Philli and New York "The Big Jack" was still selling out, he knew because he came here to play.

Maybe he's right about there being THAT many Cowboy fans at the game. They must have stayed and cleaned up because there wasn't a Cowboy fan in sight for days after that clinic !

I was at the game also. Mitchell is a moron. There were 5 skins jerseys for every cowpie jersey. He has no clue what he was talking about. They should have asked him how loud it was at the end of the 35-7 stomp, and see if his claim made any sense then, since all the cowgirls had left at the end of the 3rd qtr.

Actually, in his defense, he said that Washington is not a sports town. He kept referring to the fact that Michael Wilbon had made this point on some panel, and that he intended to have Wilbon on next (this) week. He was really unable to make the argument himself, which is what infuriated Bram so much. He then went on to say, if anything, Washington is a Redskins town. But then he came up with this idiotic comment about attendance at last year's Dallas game.

Hopefully he'll address these comments again today, so tune in from 12-3pm.

Hmmm...maybe BMitch is a smarter guy than we are all giving him credit for - saying something blatantly controversial in order to get more people to listen...

I'll have to show that quote to my wife. She's a Dallas fan & had never been to any dallas games before we went to that game at fedex. We were there early & walked around a lot. There were quite a number of dallas fans, maybe as much as 5-8%, but that's probably even an overstatement.
The crowd was crazy loud & never let up. My wife had tears in her eyes by halftime & was miserable being surrounded by loud Skins fans (including me) for 3 hours! Brian Mitchell, we love ya, you must just be trying to boost game attendance, cause there's no way you're right on this one!
