Eagles trade 2003 3rd round pick Billy McMullen for undrafted free agent Hank Baskett.
So, basically, they traded this guy for someone they could have had for nothing a month ago.

That would be great if Billy McMullen becomes a superstar wideout.

I think u r thinking of Reggie Brown, but McM showed some promise coming out of college but his time with the Eagles has been luckily unproductive.

Who the hell is Hank Baskett?
6'3" 224lbs 4.5, 4.22 (shuttle), 6.8 (3cone)... decent, but not earth shattering. He's punted and can throw option passes though and has a better chance at making the roster... pre-draft he was projected as a 5th round pick. This trade definately classifies as a bit crazy... maybe they fell in love with his size and intangibles...
Baskett is a rare-sized athlete with a fine blend of size, strength and quickness. He emerged as a game-breaking threat during his senior year, his first season as a starter. This blue chip talent has a solid and blue-collar work ethic. He not only excels on offense as a receiver, but also demonstrates a strong arm for the option pass. He also relishes his role as a team leader.
Baskett was a three-sport standout at Clovis High School. He not only starred in football, basketball and track, but also excelled in the classroom, graduating with a 4.0 grade point average. As a senior, he played in six games at quarterback and four more at receiver, earning second-team All-State honors as a punter (handled that duty for three seasons) and receiver.
In track, Baskett was one of the nation's top schoolboy high jumpers with a state-record leap of 7'0" at the 2000 state track meet in Albuquerque, again winning that title in 2001 with a 6'11" jump. On the basketball court, Baskett averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Wildcats, earning second-team All-State honors. He also was the Wildcats' Athlete of the Year as a junior.
blah blah blah
2005: 1,071 yards
2004: 908 yards
2003: 228 yards (17 catches)
2002: 21 yards (2 catches) - missed 7 games due to a spinal/neck injury
and mcmullen's been nothing but a scrub. he was like 6, 7, or 8 on their depth chart... just a throw in.
