This horse has been beat dead. warriorzpath 05-17-2006, 04:38 PM warriorz, you're arguing without any valid reason anymore just admit that you're in the wrong cuz this thread is going nowhere I'm wrong - okay bledsoe is a great leader - eck that left a bad taste in my mouth. nope that didn't work. warriorzpath 05-17-2006, 04:41 PM Yeah it seems like this is getting childish. We are a fourm of informed fans. This horse has been beat dead. wow holier than thou - please see lavar, ramsey, question 3, etc. threads. Just having a little fun at the expense of a cowboys fan, one that can barely spell I might add. That Guy 05-17-2006, 04:41 PM bledsoe is still a top 15 qb right now. he's not peyton or brady, but he's better than nothing, or ken dorsey for sure. just cause he's a cowboy doesn't make him terrible, and if you honestly think losing your job to tom brady makes you a crappy qb, well, you should stop smoking crack. not everyone can be a top 3 QB in the NFL. bashing aimlessly for the sake of wasting time or whatnot is fairly pointless. if you think a leader has to win super bowls, then we don't have one either, unless you consider a guy like david patten to be our leader, which would be retarded. if you think gibbs is our leader, well, parcells has been there too. if you can't play nice and be reasonable, and you have to turn to basless flaming instead, please don't do it here. RobH4413 05-17-2006, 07:29 PM If Bledsoe gets hurt they're screwed. QB depth: 1. Bledsoe 2. Tony Romo 3. Drew Henson He's in his 14th season of his career. It's not unlikely that he will miss some games this upcoming season. Is Bledsoe really a top 15 QB? Maybe fantasywise. But he certainly is no Brunell and I would take Eli over him. McNabb has playmaking potential, so I would rank him over Bledsoe as well. So I believe, objectively, that Drew is the worst QB in our division, and I think top 15 may be pushing it. The guy has never been impressive when faced with adversity (unlike McNabb or Brunell, and it's too early to tell on Eli). He's a veteran who has the experience to lead an NFL team, but he doesn't strike me as a winner, at least not anymore. That Guy 05-17-2006, 08:04 PM Is Bledsoe really a top 15 QB? Maybe fantasywise. But I'm sure a lot of people here could come up with a top 15 list that doesn't include Bledsoe. Bledsoe has top career QB stats due to longevity, which is a credit to him, but being around as long as he has with his rep, one would expect more than one trip to the SB. The guy hasn't even started a playoff game since 1997 (8 years). So the winning just isn't there. GTripp0012 05-17-2006, 08:21 PM sorry double post. number21isabadman 05-17-2006, 08:26 PM HA, man the hostility in the air huh. At least its nice to see people are still passionate about there teams, but this quarterback controversy needs to stop. If one area in our division is weak, i would say it would be at the quarterback position, so you cant just go on and say bledsoe sucks and is not a leader, because to be honest with you im not totally sold on brunell as a leader or as my starting qb for that matter, in essence your both talking about the same guy. Both are nearing the ends of the nfl careers, both pocket passers and need time to throw and both are being groomed to be replaced. If you look at brunells numbers last year not all that impressive, it was manly our defense that kept us in games. |
