The cowboys, giants, and eagles may be formidable, but they all seem to be missing something. The cowboys are missing a leader especially on offense and don't have much of a running game. The giants are overhyped as a team and still have an inconsistent passing game. The eagles are still trying to recover from T.O. and the loss of Brad Childress may also affect them.

D'Boyz, The reason I said that about your line is because with Glover is gone on D. On offense, Fabini was hurt for half the year last year and Adams was hurt as well. Is Adams even coming back? The Cowboys are putting a lot of hope in key lineman returning from injury or filling the gaps with unprovens.

D'BOYZ-

I will agree that you guys had a good draft, and your LB corps should be improved. My only caution is that when you rely on a rookie for immediate impact - and Carpenter really does need to be that guy for you guys - you take a big chance. Most rookies don't get a chance to impact the game in their first year - even in a more instictual position like LB. If Carpenter isn't the impact guy you expect, it will adversely affect the whole defense (one of the curses of the 3-4 is that it requires that LB group to shine, or everyone around them suffers.)

Can we at least agree that the Eagles are in for a long year?

yes we can agree the Eagles are in for a long year they have a 2003 team but they aren't facing 2003 division competition I just can see them at the top as they used to.

I agree we can't relly on rookies but remmember last year dallas played 3 rookies at defense (canty, spears, ware) having great result with all of them and they also played 2 first year starters (B.James, K.Davis) 1 becomening a cornerstone of the LB and the other doing a decent job at FS, all thsi players showed tha ttehy could handle the presure of being first year started and even though they made some rookie mistakes they still produced a verry good defense a better 1 that most expected.

Now they are all i nthe second year and Carpenter shows a lot more knowledge and maturity than most rookies it's not like Ware last year that had to learn a new position all together.

wow man you can say Dallas has problems with the Oline and at safety as you guys also have some holes and "?" but to say they lack a leader that's just nuts so Bledsoe isn't a leader and all those come from behind games last year who did that?.

Are you asking me if I think Bledsoe is a leader ? I think Hellz-no - but see that's just what I think, no need to get TO'd up about anything. :)

See I may have a bad memory or just plain tunnel-vision, but the only come from behind game that I remember seeing the cowboys being involved in was Santana Moss burning them for 2 long tds in the heart of cowboys land.

But Glover doesn't help or function in this defense that's why your statement doesn't apply his great as a 4-3 tackle not a 3-4. and yeah adams is comming back will have to waith untill trainning camp to see how good the Oline is and how well they can play together.

Believe me it's our mayor "?" we all just don't know who the'll play but they'll sure be better than last year once Adams went down hey any line is better than what we had last year.

Wow that's impressive - including the Oakland loss/almost come from behind/still a loss. You were itching to use that comeback thing weren't you. Good job.

Too bad Bledsoe couldn't lead the patriots to a superbowl victory and watched on the sideline while someone else did. One from the opposing team and once from his own team's bench. And too bad he couldn't lead himself to comeback from losing his starting spot to a low draft choice in his second year.

Maybe the cowboys have the ability to lead a horse to water like TO to Dallas. But I think in this case, it's more of leading an ass to water/Dallas.
