Enjoy the oil... ;)
Anyone See Sean Taylor's Interview on Redskins.com?TheMalcolmConnection 05-08-2006, 12:08 PM Enjoy the oil... ;) saskin 05-08-2006, 12:10 PM Enjoy the oil... ;) Lol, maybe we'll have the same avatar.....course with oil prices the way they are....maybe I'll be spared for an alternative fuel! TheMalcolmConnection 05-08-2006, 12:13 PM I only have the avatar because I refuse to change mine from the April Fool's Day joke. :) TheMalcolmConnection 05-08-2006, 12:13 PM I like to be "short bus" special. warriorzpath 05-08-2006, 12:14 PM As long as he's not pulling guns on ME, he's A-OK in my book. Just stay away from his ATVs. warriorzpath 05-08-2006, 12:18 PM Before I even start I'll admit I'll probably be thrown into boiling oil for saying this... I'm kinda surprised by some of the responses here. People who called him a "nice guy but made bad decisions". But we look at players of other teams, who we don't know as well, and base our judgements on "bad decisions" that they have made. I'll go ahead and throw out the example of Marcus Vick. Now, I'm not saying he is a Saint, heck I'll even say he is a thug. But I think if he were on our team, most of you all would probably be defending him for his actions and just saying he is "a mislead individual"(which he may be). Now, before I'm branded a traitor and bashed out of this forum, I wanna say that I love the Redskins and I like Sean Taylor....but he did do what he did, and if I were some of y'all I would be wary of defending him. I think these are 2 different people with 2 different cirumstances. Plus I'll stick up for Sean Taylor, for the same reason I'll root against Lavar Arrington - the jerseys that they wear. Schneed10 05-08-2006, 01:05 PM Anyone who isn't at least willing to acknowledge that he's made some poor choices is definitely being a biased homer. He definitely has done some dumb things in his young career, hence the label of dumbass. But being a dumbass is not such a big deal, so long as he manages to mature and make the right decisions. He can still be plenty intimidating on the field and make good decisions off of it. I think it will just take some time, he's still just what, 24 years old? 12thMan 05-08-2006, 01:08 PM I think in the end, no one is as bad as they seem and no one is as good as they seem. That being said, strap on your helmet bitches, I'm ready for some football!! warriorzpath 05-08-2006, 02:19 PM Anyone who isn't at least willing to acknowledge that he's made some poor choices is definitely being a biased homer. I always wanted to ask: what exactly is a homer ? TheMalcolmConnection 05-08-2006, 02:20 PM Someone who, without logic or reason, believes his favorite team, player or STD is better than the others just because HE or SHE likes them. |
