HeadHunter21 05-04-2006, 02:01 AM Didn't he play free safety for a few years at VT?
I'm not sure if he did or not, I was a freshman during his Senior season. But he is big and strong enough to make the switch. He hits suprisingly hard, in my opinion he was one of the hardest hitters in our secondary.
That Guy 05-04-2006, 03:00 AM yeah, williams played FS at VT.
Big C 05-04-2006, 04:32 AM he has played CB the last 2 years for us i know that. he was a safety before tho i believe when it was eric green and deangelo hall, though i wasnt a student here then i am assuming cuz i know he did play safety
backrow 05-04-2006, 07:45 AM An awful lot of I's and We's in this thread about a C(hokie)!
What is a C(hokie)?
If you ask a fan, they give you some funny, elongated, and evasive answers, but it is really a Castrated Turkey!
A turkey of a mascot!
And don't get me started on the Boohoos from whoville! Also known as the Cadava-liers.
You'd think that here in the Old Dominion, that one has to be from one of those two schools to be "in".
To be in, you only have to be a Redskin fan!
I'm glad someone else recognized our steal of the Draft, and none of our Draft picks came from either of the two schools listed above. Great move, Redskin FO!
D'BOYZ 05-04-2006, 03:26 PM What do you mean Walker for a second round pick (also without losing picks)?
yeah exactly getting a proven Pro bowl wr in his prime granted comming of injury but for jsut a second great steal.

I love LC. Go Hornets.

I'm even more confused. I still don't get what you mean for a second but then you say without losing picks
Daseal 05-07-2006, 01:21 PM I believe Maroony (sp) could be a steal. Every Minnesota game I watched he was tearing it up!
phooey360 05-09-2006, 12:01 PM The steal in the draft has to be Chad Jackson out of Florida. How could he drop so far in the draft into the second round? In my opinion he was the best receiver in the draft, and that's including Santonio Holmes, and Sinorice Moss. Him going to the Patriots is a steal and also a travesty. I hate the Patriots, almost as much as I hate the Cowboys, but I have to admit that getting a weapon that is of Chad Jackson's talent is why they win super bowls

Hokie is a word that was created by a cheerleader years ago. I'm a Hokie, and while I think J. Williams is an athlete, he's been a problem at times on the field w/his attitude & his mouth off the field. Glad we didn't take him, just a gut feeling.
Would've liked us to grab one of the late rnd. hokie d & o-line prospects though. We did invite Mike Imoh to camp though.
