1. This might be one of the only years where all the QB's drafted in the 1st round will go on to have succesful careers with the team that drafted them. I say this b/c all three QB's will have a chance to sit and develop which has become a lost artform in todays NFL.
2. Vernon Davis will become a monster and possibly save Alex Smith's career. I'll go as far to say he will be THE TE in 3 years
3. The Jets had a Patriot like draft (which was to be expected). In saying that watch out, in 3 years the Jets will have the BEST O-LINE in the league. At this point passing up on Leinart might have been for the best.
4. Cudos to the Packers. They have had added a lot of solid prospects, especially AJ Hawk, who next to Nick Barnet will flourish and eventually become an elite player.
5. The Texans passing on Reggie Bush was a HORRIBLE move and a reminder why Casserly doesn't work for the Redskins anymore. Not only did they passing on an amazing talent, but they are really not helping their financial situation. By living in Atlanta I have witnessed the type of impact a primetime player can have on a team. Aside from forfeiting hunderds of yards and points in offense they are also throwing away millions in jersey, ticket, and concession sales. On top of that almost every D-Lineman drafted first overall has been a bust. Courtney Brown Anyone?
6. Leinart should count his blessings. Going to Arizona was one of the best things that could have happened to him, which is kind of ironic considering what going to Arizona has meant in the past. He will be going to a franchise that will have not the triplets but the Quintuplets. Look at how much fun Smith is having in San Francisco. On top of that with a new stadium, uniforms, and a fan base that is growing (and going away from rooting for Dallas) you've gotta admit, its a good time to be a fan of Phoneix pro sports.
7. Buffalo, Buffalo, Buffalo. This franchise is trying to move to LA. Lets review their offseason.
1. They were the only team to reject the CBA
2. They hired a washed up coach in Dick Jauron
3. They got rid of a lot of their good players, some can be under stood for cap reasons (Moulds, Adams, Milloy)
4. They learned from 2005 that they don't have a QB
5. On draft day they took a Top 25 pick in the Top 10 and then traded up to get a 3rd round pick in the 1st round.
I now deem this franchise the Basement of the NFL and they will enjoy screwing up the #1 overall pick next year.
8. The Giants were tired of the Skins being the only team in the East that could run WR Screens for 70 yards so as a result they tried to get in the action. Posers.
9. Gaffney, Westbrook, and McNabb OH MY!!! Is it just me or does the Eagles offense strike as much fear in you as as as, well something that doesn't scare you? But I also hate to admit that Bunkley was an excellent pick.

I'd also like to add that Max-Jean Giles is still on the board
11. The Ravens like having DT's with names that are hard to pronounce
12. The Redskins can't stop taking players from the U.
Now its your turn. Make your own observations and predictions or comments on the ones that other people have made. Enjoy
