warriorzpath 04-27-2006, 05:01 PM as for davis, ability wise, the sky is the limit.saw him talk for the first time today and came off rather cockey and arrogant(not that it matters)but i would not make a tight end a top 10 pick.you really need someone thats a game changer if you are picking that high and i just dont see that out of the tight end position
I have to disagree somewhat - if you team him up with let's say someone like Ladanian. That would be a combo that would be hard to matchup with.
dmek25 04-27-2006, 05:02 PM i agree with that but who else plays offense for the 49ers?frank gore hardly scareing any defenses

yeah, too bad he's not going to a team like the redskins. No one would be able to stop the redskins' offense.

Michael Smith, of ESPN.com, reports Green Bay Packers WR Donald Driver is mad that the team has not re-done his deal and wants to be traded or released.
wow... messed up.
skinsfanthru&thru 04-27-2006, 07:22 PM dolphins, saints, patriots also talking to walker. He's gotten official permission to seek a trade now and is even setting up a visit to denver already.
that would be two awesome offenses if Walker went to Miami. Dillon, Branch, Walker, Watson, and Brady is pretty nice, but if he went to Miami that'd be Brown, Chambers, Walker, McMichael, and Culpepper. that'd be an insane offense to match up against.
That Guy 04-27-2006, 07:42 PM you forgot booker, he's a legit #2. I think dillon may be done too.
Beemnseven 04-27-2006, 11:39 PM Chargers | Las Vegas calls[/B]
Thu, 27 Apr 2006 06:05:33 -0700
Ronald W. Powell, of the San Diego Union-Tribune, reports Las Vegas Mayor Oscar B. Goodman contacted the San Diego Chargers this week about the possibility of beginning talks that could end with relocating the Chargers to Las Vegas. The Chargers responded with a letter informing Goodman that their lease with San Diego prohibits them from talking with other cities until Jan. 1. Goodman said Wednesday, April 26, that he is not deterred. Goodman's overture came as a result of the announcement last week by San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders that he supports allowing the Chargers to explore relocating to other cities in the county in the team's pursuit of a new stadium.
I thought the NFL wanted nothing to do with Las Vegas. You know, to protect their squeaky-clean, 'no one gambles in this league' image. In fact, wasn't it just a year or two ago that the NFL refused to allow Las Vegas commercials to be aired during the Super Bowl?
One more thing -- That Guy, what do you mean by saying that 'Dillon may be done?'
skinsfanthru&thru 04-28-2006, 12:23 AM you forgot booker, he's a legit #2. I think dillon may be done too.
damn yeah I forgot about booker. all I know is if that trade happened I'd be glad the skins don't have to play that offense more than once every few years unless @the big dance.
and I agree dillon looked like he got really really old between the Pats winning their last SB and last year.
That Guy 04-28-2006, 12:58 AM One more thing -- That Guy, what do you mean by saying that 'Dillon may be done?'
hit the wall, turned to crap. Eddie George and Stephen Davis are two very recent examples of running backs just losing thier ability in an instant. He looked really bad all last year after such a great first year in NE.
