i think farve was looking to get cut, not traded. either way, this was a bad choice. the packers look like they'll stink yet again, they've brought no one in, and their #1 WR may be gone by next week. This doesnt necesarily(sp?)mean he will play for the pack. do you think he may still get traded?

At long last, our national nightmare is over.

Here's something to think about. With a new head coach, a new offensive coordinator, with a new (albeit very similar) offense, will the hook on Favre come quicker (which is to say "at all") this year?

if he gets traded either he, or the new team will have to learn a new offense... after a billion years in the sasme system, i just don't think he wants to do that for one year.

Honestly, I hope so. If he doesn't play well, why give one player the satisfaction of going down "a legend" and basically screw your team for his agenda.

After seeing the MNF game at Baltimore last year I have to say I agree with you.

favre is still a good qb. the team was just not good enough last year. i'm glad he is going to play again, i always look forward to watching him when the packers are on tv.

Ok...for the sake of my fantasy team:

Roger Clemens, follow Favre's lead. Make a decision after stalling and calling pointless press conferences! :D
