So next weekend I'm packing up my one-bedroom apartment in Bethesda, MD and heading to just outside New Haven, CT.

I'm looking to move Saturday May 6. Can anyone recommend a good and relatively cheap moving company? I've got your basics-queen sized bed, dresser, nightstands, coffee table, sofa, easy chair, tv. Then all your assorted bathroom/kitchen stuff

Plus my lifesized Betty Rubble doll....MMMMM Betty Rubble

I used Lawrence Transportation out of NC, but they do stuff all over the place and are very reliable. They are affiliated with United Van Lines which is known worldwide.

I have a big truck and I'd be happy to help, but I don't have a hazmat suit to touch your Flintstones sex doll.

3 Daves moving in Remington VA. I'm not sure how long-distance they are, but they moved me, and they've moved just about everyone I know and they're great guys who take care of your stuff. I don't know how cheap they are, and I don't know if you'll ever consider any moving company cheap thats going across states like that.

I'd just get a u-haul and buy us some beer and hookers. I'd take a weekend off!
