This is just a reminder , the Giants were the only NFC East team to beat the Chiefs and Saunders ofense .Tim Lewis will be ready .
The Cowboys beat them, but it was a nailbiter.

Well remember this. No team in the East is better prepared to handle injuries then the Skins'. As a matter of fact I'm convinced that Saunders might be the best Portis insurance money could buy b/c with Saunders Portis will blosom. On top of that Bettis, Cartrwright, and Nemo will look better than they really are.

What happens to the Giants if Eli goes down? Well Hello Mr.Other Hassleback. Plus does Jeff Garcia really scare anyone with Reggie Brown as his #1 guy? And if one Drew goes down in Dallas and even better one takes over. However physical talent only takes you so far. Portis is the one guy that will really really hurt the Redskins if they lose him, even then I think we can count on Saunders to come through in the clutch.

If we draft a Lb at 53 , I would be willing to wager $ that he makes more tackles than LA makes for the Gmen this year .

In a way, Lavar's leaving, especially the way he left has already helped in a big way. His give-back of $4 million bonus money provided more cap relief that the Skins used for major upgrades on offense. Think of the whole string of transactions as a swap of a back-up linebacker for two starting receivers. I'll take that exchange any day.
I'm still an Arrington fan and wish him well, except when he faces us. However good he is with the Giants, we filled a huge need at wide receiver (I think & hope & pray). Interesting that we are describing Lavar in about the same way 49er fans are describing Lloyd.

I won't say it's made the Giants better either. As of now, he's just the same LaVar that left us last year after not making any really huge plays.
Yup, he's the same LaVar that left us and everybody realized it. For example notice nobody was offering anything close to what he was asking for.
Hail!

I would have to think that Gibb's, Saunder's with input from Williams might know exactly how to exploite LaVar's weaknesses and aviod his strength's....if he's even healthy by the time we play them.

LA will still have the knee issues. He will sit 8 games this season due to injury.

dirtbag,i love the skins but saying in saunders offense our running backs will look better than they really are?anyway, lavar will always be the player he was here, make a big play or two, miss about 3-4 tackles a game, and get caught out of position a whole bunch.its time for us skins fans to cut the cord and "FORGET ABOUT LAVAR"
