The Seahawks had some key losses on their O-Line and at WR in the offseason. They'll still be good, but not as good as last year.

In the NFC, I think the Panthers, Bears, Bucs and Giants will be the toughest competitors for us.

I think Marc Bulger is a more than serviceable QB. Stephen Jackson is a stud in the making, if he's not already. Faulk is on the downslope of his career but he can stil give you a little something. I think Isaac Bruce will have a bounceback year and when talking about the best receivers in the game I probably wouldn't go top 5 without mentioning Holt.

The key offensively of course is for Bulger to stay healthy. But now with Frerotte, they at least have a veteran backup and don't have to turn to Fitzpatrick.

Defensively, they added a run stopper in La'Roi Glover, a playmaking linebacker in Will Witherspoon. Plus I like them adding Corey Chavous to be the leader in that secondary. And I think Haslett was a good choice for defensive coordinator.

I can see 10-6 and a wild card for the Rams

I honestly think we are the biggest threats to ourselves. If we can stay healthy, I believe we win the division hands down.

steelers... colts... NFC east... broncos are always a top team, but never seem to be the best. seahawks if they sign law. JP and law would counterbalance losing hutch.

I think the NY Giants will be toughest D to handle this year and the Panthers O will give our D their biggest headache this year. But other than that I think the colts will have the best O we will face this year hands down.

That's the case every year for us! :D

You really think the Panthers O? All they really have it Steve Smith. I still don't count Keyshawn as part of an offense.

After a long grueling evaluation and assessment of the NFC teams, and after hours and hours evaluating their Ds & Os, assessing their talent levels, looking at last year's statistics, taking their pulse, temperature, vitals, collective 40 times, total bench presses, wonderlic scores, cap problems, FO interfereance, and adding in FAs and prospective NFL Draftees and such, I've come to the penultimate decision that the biggest threat is us! If we can convince ourselves to impose our will on our weekly opponent, then, I see no reason that the B&G cannot breeze through the 2006-2007 season, on the way to either an 11-5, or 12-4 record and a PO berth, possibly homefield advantage throughout the POs.
