Here's one I couldn't figure out. One of these clowns actually had us taking a DE at 53. Can't figure out why.

I say we take a corner. You can always find servicable backups at most of the other positions lower in the draft or in FA, but a good corner is tough to find.

Whats wrong with taking an end? Daniels is no spring chicken and it would not be a bad thing to have another pass rushing specialist on the line

we're probably taking a LB or CB, judging solely by the actions of who we've brought in.

if you honestly think there are quality starting CBs in the 5th round that are pretty sure bets, i'd love to hear their names.

I ran into Gibbs and Vinny last night , I heard Coach tell Vinny to take a Qb with the 53rd pick ? Im telling you guys , no way the skins draft a corner with that pick < unless he can play FS > . For one , who do you think losing would hurt us more , Springs , Samuels , Jansen or Moss ? I do not think we have any proven depth at Tackle and Moss would hurt more than a corner , you can't hide a Wr , you can always slide help to a corner . As much as I like Loyd and Randle El ,,,, they aint no Moss . There are some good corners projected to last into the 5th and 6th rd .

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
This is the best smoke screen ever. :goodjob: We have all the NFL GM's scratching their heads and watching us now. This is hilarious...... One of our newcomers ran into Gibbs and Vinny last nite right as they were talking about their 53rd pick. Cheers...:cheers

Ok , I never said that we would get an imediate starter , if I were that good I wood be a gm . But , Maxey , Miami , Martin , Wyoming ,, Hunter , Miami Ohio and Malone , Toledo could be in the 5th rd . I would be shocked if we did not make a trade to get a pick in round 3 or 4 . I just think with Springs , Rogers and Wright we have 3 very good corners , maybe where we pick a corner depends on how confident Williams has in Jimoh and Patterson ? I did see a few of Alabama's games this year , they have a corner named Madison who is projected as a F/A , runs 4.4's , and he looked better in coverage than any corners I watched this year < he is the same size as Darrell Green ? Lets just hope the 53rd pick is a big time player !

Dont think there is really a glaring need that the skins must fill, but we sure had a few big runs against the defense last year at key times(ladainian tomlinson (http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0LaSt6Vp01EMusA151XNyoA/SIG=14jukqm13/EXP=1146026261/**http%3a//search.yahoo.com/search%3fp=ladainian%2btomlinson%2bpictures%26rs=0 %26fr2=rs-top%26toggle=1%26ei=UTF-8%26fr=FP-tab-web-t)for a TD in OT. 2nd round pick DT Claude Wroten.....5th round pick Derrick Martin cb. 6thrnd Best OT avaliable and ,,,The hits just keep on coming

Thats funny, I actually ran into the Easter Bunny and he said we would go for the 'Best Player Available'

Do you think that in your dream where you met Joe Gibbs and Vinny Cerato you might have mistaken CB for QB? Seems more plausible.

Maxey is like a 3rd rounder and hunter probably doesn't fall further than the top of the 5th, but the other two could be there pretty easily, as well as dion byrum.

The Redskins are in a wonderful position of not having a must pick. They could add depth at LB, CB, OL, DL or S. Basically, let the draft play out and take the best player available.
