It's Joe Gibbs modern era LT nightmare all over again! Ouch, was really hoping he would have left the division. Oh well, guess we will find ways to beat him when he is out of position. Monk-Fan 04-22-2006, 12:19 PM This really sucks. I dont wish anything bad on the guy because i really like him but im sure he will have his injury issues and hopefully it will be when we are playing him. Although im sure he will want to play against us every chance he gets Jamaican'Skin 04-22-2006, 12:38 PM Now that's 2 Ex Skins LBs that have gone over to the Blue side. That sucks Kope 04-22-2006, 12:46 PM Not good. But if anyone will know how to exploit him it will be Gibbs / Williams. I am worried about him and Pierce and our signals, though. Paintrain 04-22-2006, 12:59 PM Eh, not concerned. Good for him that he got his money. I am more concerned with our players playing to their abilities than who anyone else has. If they do what they're capable of then I think it won't much matter who is on the other side of the ball. MonkFan4Life 04-22-2006, 01:00 PM Isn't good ? Why fear this guy. He's just like any other good player that we have to see. So the F*&K What if he wen't to New York ? Who here really didn't see this coming ? If you ACTUALLY thought he was going somewhere else then you did just what he wanted you to do. F - the Giants, I can't wait until that game comes up. Pierce knew the signals in the second game and did it help,... NO. The first game yeah it did, they will change things here and there to offset them gicing away the calls just like they did for the second meeting. I'm pissed he's there, yeah he's a "playmaker" that the Skins have to worry about but man, he's 1 guy out of 11 on the field for the Giants' D. He and his folks will have to line up against our Offense, I'm confident the offense will be fine. I wish he went somewhere else but it was plain to see that he was going to New York no matter what. Kevikazi 04-22-2006, 01:03 PM Arrington and Pierce are not familiar with Al Saunders offense...so, I'm not too worried. 7 year 49 million....isn't that less money than what he would have made as a Redskin? Do you think we would have been able to keep him if he redid his contract for less money? steveo395 04-22-2006, 01:10 PM Isn't good ? Why fear this guy. Do you think we would have been able to keep him if he redid his contract for less money? he would have made more under his old deal, but there was no way to really work the numbers to keep him and get everyone in FA we targetted. LBs and RBs are the most replaceable positions, we'll find someone. |
