I have read alot of your posts, and while you often have good insight there are times you are just too damn hard to please. If Randle El gets 6 TD's next year that will be a 600% improvment over last year. I agree that he might end up being the 3rd WR but then again so was Ricky Sanders, and he had a great career with us along with settind a SB record against the Broncos. I see alot of posts that put a negative spin on Randle El being a 3rd WR. The combination of Moss, Lloyd, Randle El, and Patten is going to be incredible. We should all applaud the fact that Gibbs and the front office were smart enough to do what ever it took to load up at WR so that our passing game and running game would be much less predictable. The weapons we have added to Moss, Portis, and Cooley will also make our Defense the top in the league.

i'm not hard to please, just being realistic and that post wasn't knocking El, it was responding to the article at the top that said he'd put up 1000 total non return yards and 10 TDs, which I think would be very hard with so much other talent here. cooley, patten, lloyd, el, portis, and moss will all help kill each other's individual stats even though the team total will be greater. so some fantasy football site recommending picking up a #3 WR as a stud in a FF draft either thinks the skins O is putting up 6k passing yards next year, or didn't think through their article very clearly.

I don't think I've ever said Randle-El sucks or anything of that nature. Only that he got a ton of money/past production compared to carter or lloyd. I said the same about Archuleta. That doesn't mean they can't outplay their contracts, just that it's less likely.

he turned down LESS money in chicago. Danny outbid them by a large margin to negate his hometown discount rate for the bears.

he was best suited as a #3 WR in pittsburg, and that's what he'll probably be here. slot guy behind #1 moss and #2 lloyd. I'd be mildly surprised if he got more than 8 TDs total.

Read it again it says he turned down more money and turned down the opportunity to play in Chicargo . Not that he turned down more money in the Windy city

Then I'd like to know who offered him more money than we did... cause I sure don't remember any reports of the like.

I still see Portis running for possibly 2000+ for running for 1500+ and receiving for lots more.

What will D's think when we have Portis, Moss, Patten, El, Cooley and LLoyd all in the game at the same time and I think thats what we will do on the very first play from the O this season.

I think it's very possible. I see the rest of the league improving a lot though too.
