This is my very first event as a BBQ Team but I feel really good about my chances. I will be up against some of the biggest names there is in bbq like the Texas Rib Rangers and others. My team name is "The Pit Pirates" and I'll be competing in all four meat catagories which are Pulled Pork, Spare Ribs, 1/2 a whole chicken and Beef Brisket. You have to compete in all 4 meats to have a chance to be chosen Grand Champion and go on to represent the State in bigger events. I'm F'ing Stoked!!! I went out yesterday and got me a big tent thinging and the local banner lady will be making all my banners and stuff free. Nope, the race weekend is the weekend before. May 6th is the big race. Sorry SBF I would love to come by and have some official Warpath BBQ but Im actually going to be out of town that weekend. We watch alot of the cooking channel and we slobber all over our selfs when they go to these cook offs and show all the great food. If we make the trip we will stop by to try some of your cooking.
