Nah, there's PLENTY of them, just not enough to overcome when people like McCain and Spector abandon the party to obstruct any progress. The Republican party is the ONLY party where Conservatives are welcomed. Any Conservative in the Democrat party gets eaten by their own party and George Soros' bank account.
GEORGE ALLEN FOR PRES in '08! :)
I don't know about that. If there were "plenty" of conservative republicans, do you honestly think there'd be as much spending as there has been? The most since LBJ? Come on, the education bill that Bush let Ted Kennedy write, the Farm bills, transportation bills most of which was filled by massive pork like the republican Ted Stevens' bridge to nowhere in Alaska? Aid for Africa, aid for Palestine, Campaign Finance Reform, raising the federal debt limits. It's not just Spector and McCain. George Allen has voted with the president something like 96% of the time, and Bush has never found one bill in the five years he's had the presidency that could have been vetoed?
Sorry, if what we're seeing is conservatism, I'd hate to see what the socialist democrats have in store. The republicans have owned the House, the Senate and the Executive branch for some time now. Nothing has happened except more government spending, more government power, and more government in general. If you're a conservative, you can't be happy with what you've seen from this crowd.
