Everyone knows how there is the NFL Sunday ticket plan for Direct-tv....is there one for Comcast Digital Cable? Cause right now I don't live in the D.C. area and it is killing me that I can't watch my skins unless i drive somewhere that has them on.

My parents live outta the area and got the dish so they can watch every Redskins game at their home. If I'm on the road I just goto a sports bar to catch the game. I have season ticks so I try never to miss a home game! If ya can't afford the ticket goto a sports bar. There's one is almost everytown I've ever been in. Cable won't have the ticket for atleast a few more years since the new agreement with dish. Make other plans for atleast a few years... Digital cable does have 10 min highlights after the game, but hardly the same as watching your REDSKINS LIVE!!!

On the same note. I also read somewhere (and Direct TV will never tell you this) that you can get Direct TV and just get the NFL Sunday Ticket, without getting their digital package. What I mean by this, is you can keep Comcast for you cable and get the dish for Sundays It would be the only time you watch Direct TV. I have been thinking about doing this because I don't want to rent their "boxes" for the 4 TVS in my house and pay $4.99 a month for each box. I would get one box on one TV to watch on Sunday's and keep my local cable. No monthly fee from Direct TV just the Sunday ticket charge.
I think it has something to do with Direct TV not being able to have a monopoly on cable and forcing you to watch their cable when you get Sunday Ticket. Of course you my blow up all the specials that they run to get you to hook up with them.

My uncle is the CEO of Hughes, the original force behind DirecTV. But has he ever hooked me up with free service......Nooooo. I'll remember that when he asks me for a TheWarpath.net coffee mug.
