I think we could go with TE, LB, or CB. It depends on who is on the board.
TE - Fauria is a decent pickup, but he's not exactly the long term solution. Plus, this year's crop of TEs is very deep. On the other hand, Cooley has been moved to tight end and so drafting a #2 tight end with our first pick might be a luxury.
LB - I'd like to see a backup currently on our roster become a new starter, but I'm not sure that it is going to happen. Plus, there should be some quality LBs available by the time we pick.
CB - Kenny Wright was a nice addition, but as has been pointed out, Springs is aging and we need someone who can develop into a starter opposite Carlos Rogers. Plus, Williams' defense uses a lot of DBs and we're not that deep at CB or S. I wouldn't mind trading up into the bottom of the first round or top of the second round to grab Cromartie. He was projected as a top 10 pick before he was injured and he seems to have fully recovered. He could be a steal for a team that gets him.
