Cowboys | Team wants to see more of Owens at offseason program
Thu, 13 Apr 2006 20:12:40 -0700
Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Star-Telegram, reports several sources have noted that Dallas Cowboys (http://www.kffl.com/team/14/nfl) WR Terrell Owens (http://www.kffl.com/player/1608/nfl) has not been a regular participant in Cowboys (http://www.kffl.com/team/14/nfl) head coach Bill Parcells (http://www.kffl.com/player/6445/nfl)' offseason program. His initial absences were understood because of a prior commitment, but Owens in the past has preferred to work with his own trainer. His publicist, Kim Etheredge, said, "He is here when he is required to be here just like every other player on the team" and added that Parcells has expressed no concern about Owens' regimen. Parcells' feelings on the subject are clear. The "voluntary" program requires players to work out four times a week and get in 40 workouts during the offseason. "To (Parcells), it's about chemistry," a source said. "He wants you here."

not really a big deal, but i'd like it to turn into one...

let the fun begin!
99% participation from all Redskins so far excluded excused absences and injuries. Randle El and Lloyd are there! Patten and Moss too! We'll see where TO lines up against us! hahahhahahahaha!

I just hope that TO tears that team apart from the inside out. Hopefully it will send them into a downward spiral that will last years.

I'd love to to turn out to be more than the Taylor situation was last year. I'm sure his teammates are already not impressed.

that 99% number is pure BS. we have under 70 guys, if one misses, its below 99% and if everyone makes it, it'd be 100%... that's just a number pulled out of a hat to make people feel good.

Anybody who is surprised by the fact that the problems are already starting with this guy (e.g. Jerry Jones) is a full-on idiot. Why do people refuse to believe that past behavior is an indication of future behavior? "He'll be different with us".......ya, sure he will. Dallas, you deserve everything you have coming to you.

I think the most important person that this involves is Bledsoe. If his confidence in Owen's commitment to the team starts off on shaky ground then that doen't bode well for their chemistry.

YAY!
