I'm in town to play the Dolphins you dumbass!
I love you Mary, you know I'll always be true to you.
Quite possibly his worst performance ever...we all know Joey T would have nailed that role!

Just tring to keep all on 1 thread ,here is an update guys .
"
- LB Chase Blackburn (http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/556546) is finally saying he’s at 100%. Word is that he might be tried at SLB this coming season, as well as serving as back-up MLB. (From CBS)
- Despite ongoing negotiations with the Packers and Dolphins, CBS still has an “underlying suspicion” that free agent LB Lavar Arrington (http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/187383) will sign with the New York Giants. Here is the blurb from Sportsline:
All is quiet on the LaVar Arrington front, as the Giants appear to have removed themselves from the bidding for the former Redskins linebacker. His financial demands were too high and already turned off Cincinnati, Cleveland and Miami. The Giants made an offer, which he refused and which they recently took off the table. Arrington was negotiating with Green Bay most recently, but the underlying suspicion is that he’ll sign with the Giants when his demands and the Giants’ offer get a lot closer.
- Here is another interesting blurb on Lavar Arrington and the LB situation for the Giants. This time from ESPN:
‘Back(ers) to the future: The Green Bay Packers and New York Giants both entertained unrestricted free agent LaVar Arrington, but neither has signed the former Washington Redskins star and three-time Pro Bowl performer. The other thing the two clubs have in common is a perilously thin linebacker depth chart. Both teams are going to land a linebacker, maybe even more than one, on draft weekend."

I think a lot of the drama surrounding Arrington can be pinned on his agents, the Poston brothers.
I can't help but think that those two mishandled his contract with the Redskins, which ultimately lead to the resentment between Arrington and the Redskins management and his eventual release. Furthermore, they can't seem to find him a contract and he is past the point where the free agents tend to get the big contracts. I wonder if he might sign a 1-year offer and gamble that his numbers make him a valuable commodity in the offseason?
If I were Arrington, I would fire my agent, get a new agent, and beg for a 1-year contract from the 'Skins who still have a hole at weakside LB.

LaVar should sign a one year deal and prove that he is still a game changer on defense. Then go after some big free agent dollars next year with a different agent. All of the Postons big name free agents (LaVar, Woodson and Ty Law) are all unsigned. The Poston's demands are too high and by now most teams have spent their money. Some team might end up with a bargain for one year.

Yes & Yes! The postons are at least a big part of his problems. If it weren't for them I think he'd still be a skin.
I've thought of this scenario too, he fires them & hires rosenhaus, a danny favorite, and we resign him for decent $. The only way for this to happen is if he fires the postons & tells danny that they're to blame for the contract dispute.

except they did get a HUGE deal for J. Peterson w/seatlle, that's got to be part of the reason they think they can land Lavar a comparable one.

LA will end up with the Giants. He wants to play the Skins twice next year and get some revenge. He is not going to play in freezing GB.

Did Favre hurt the team by throwing 1 touchdown and 4 interceptions in the Wild Card game that they lost to the Vikings on January 9, 2005 ?Wasn't that the game when they were down near their endzone and he ran about two yards past the line and just kind schuffled the ball to someone not even getting close. Then time ran out or they ran out of downs and he could have atleast tried to run it in. I almost think Farve wants to get cut so he could see if any other teams come calling that have a better chance of getting to the playoffs. He could then blame it on the team and not take the blame for leaving for another team.
