Yeah, I bet Dorsey flounders in the NFL. He didn't win games, but he didn't lose them either.

MTK 05-09-2004, 11:38 AM If I'm the 49ers I'd be all over Kerry Collins. I think the 49ers are being overly optimistic in thinking Rattay will be ready to roll come week 1. MTK 05-09-2004, 11:40 AM Dorsey does know how to win, but so did Wuerffel. You still have to have the physical skills to go along with the mental portion of the game. SKINSnCANES 05-09-2004, 01:14 PM Yeah, I bet Dorsey flounders in the NFL. He didn't win games, but he didn't lose them either. Dorsey did win games for the Canes. He was the leader on offense. Brock Berlin lost games for the Canes. Im not saying hes going to be a great NFL QB, but he was the leader on the Miami offense and lead them to victory. Losing him had more of an impact that anyone of the players that were drafted in the first round. JoeRedskin 05-09-2004, 01:57 PM Yea I agree, Dorsey would have been a much better pick. Dorsey will succeed because all he knows how to do is win. People say his arm isnt strong enough, well its not as strong as most QBs, but if you know that and make the smart throws it doesnt matter. Isn't that what Spurrier said about Wuerffel?? Carnage 05-09-2004, 02:40 PM They may as well start their youngsters. Seems like a rebuilding year anyway. skinsfanthru&thru 05-09-2004, 02:47 PM Dorsey did win games for the Canes. He was the leader on offense. Brock Berlin lost games for the Canes. Seems like a rebuilding year anyway. that's what its looking like but don't be suprised if even if the 49ers suck, rashaun woods makes a strong push for rookie of the year since he and barlow r the only weapons they have on offense right now. No way. He had Portis and mcGahee as his two running backs, both obvioulsy great. But Frank Gore was better than both of them. Gore just has had two knee injuries, but had more natural ability than both of them. And thats saying a lot. Dorsey had great talent around him, but so did brock berlin. Dorsey might never play in the NFL but he was the heart and sole of that team. He made the come back drives when we needed them. But yea, there was so much talent on those teams that it was hard not to lose. skinsfanthru&thru 05-09-2004, 06:51 PM No way. He had Portis and mcGahee as his two running backs, both obvioulsy great.
