Who else thinks this is the most annoying story this offseason and even over the past few offseasons. I mean make up your mind already. He is one of the great ones to play quarterback but this is ridiculous. He calls a press conference for today (Saturday) and announces that he still has not made up his mind. The T.O. situation was annoying as well but at least things changed and there was always different things happeneing. Brett needs to make up his mind so he and the Packers can move on while we can stop hearing about it.

He's coming back, and I think the NFL knows it. They are billing the Week 16 Vikings Packers game as Brett Favre's last home game.

If I were Brett, I'd probably hang it up. I believe he can still get it done, but the Packers barely even tried to put a winning team on the field last year. They get rid of one of the best guard tandems in the league and then don't really do anything after people started getting hurt. They didn't add anyone over the offseason. What is his motivation? They haven't showed the same committment to winning that he has. There is no reason for him to come back, he's proven all he can prove and this team is going to bad this year.

this retirement drill has gone on every offseason recently, and its stupid and annoying. I don't see what the big deal is and why it takes so long every year.

You have to assume he is going to play or he F'd his team time and available players to replace him.

I am so sick and tired of his shit already. Call a press conference and announce you haven't made up your mind? WTF? I hope his ass retires.

He calls a press conference every year at his celebrity golf tournament. He never said it was to announce his decision. That part was speculation by the press.
Lay off Brett. He's had more than his share of tragedy over the past few years and he's earned a little time to consider what he wants to do. Admittedly, it's tough for the Packers to plan a draft, but that's life. He could be hit by a bus the day after the draft and the team would be in the same boat.
