Shefters an idiot

Yesterday on NFL network they were talking about the Giants d-backs and all he talked about was Dallas and T.O. and the Eagles and their pass first offense but nothing about us at all, like we dont have receivers to worry about. WTF is up with the media snubbing us like that. You know what, thats ok we just fly under everyones radar and whip up on all the best DBS in the league.

Last year, despite Philly's woes, the had the top passing offense in the division. The Giants came in second, and Dallas in third (without Mr. Owens). We made great strides on the roster and on the coaching staff, but no one would try to go 4 deep at corner to stop the 2005 Redskins.

There are so many valid reasons to shred media attention on our team. I just don't think this is one of them.

Of course Philly had big passing numbers, they played from behind most of the time and even when they weren't behind Reid was calling pass plays something like 95% of the time.

If people want to underestimate our passing game I say let them. We'll be the last ones laughing, just like last year. Anyone remember Dr. Z saying we would go 4-12 last year? How smart was that prediction?

i think at this point since this has happened so many other times, I would rather fly under the radar because there are no expectations. Since these idiots think that everyone else in the NFC East are better, they will have to eat their words when the Skins' win the division while posting offensive #'s that will place us top 5 in the NFL.

I just think is funny how one week all they can talk about is all the good things we did in free agency, to the next week "The Girls" sign T.O. and now all of the sudden they are the greatest thing in the league. I just cant wait to see when things dont go right for him and he goes and takes a dook on the star.......hopefully he does it in week 2 so we all can see it live!!!!!!!!

You know what guys, I am going to play devil's advocate for a bit, and also because I feel this way at times too. I think the media "bias" towards us is totally legit. I wish the media would respect the Skins bc of last year, but if we put that into perspective, its just one year. It really doesnt mean shit in the long run, and we have had 2 productive seasons in the last 10 seasons, I think the media has a right to hate on us. The past is their justification, and it is a pretty strong one. Of course we have made major changes and it looks like their might be some continuiety in the coaching department for some years to come (GW). But until we make the playoffs for two more yrs, guys we are still going to hear this kinda crap. I am not about this Skins bias of the entire media, but I do know its their for Lenny P and Dr. Z, and maybe a few other guys. But beyond that, much of the hate we get is acceptable bc we really have significant in the recent past to back us up. Things will be better next year when we prove them wrong again, but still it wont be perfect. I guess what I am saying is, everyone is always so shocked that media hates us, but it kinda makes sense why they would.
