Mock Draft Commentarydiehardskin2982 04-06-2006, 05:19 PM lol That Guy 04-06-2006, 05:21 PM ouch, guess you didn't feel like trying your luck trading down again? Redskins8588 04-06-2006, 05:25 PM are you guys gonna up date the big board? PWNED 04-06-2006, 05:27 PM i took bunkley because exhibit A is the skins game against them last year. talk about POROUS. dmek25 04-06-2006, 08:53 PM i took justice but can see the ravens going safety, corner also Schneed10 04-06-2006, 10:27 PM As the Eagles, I took Chad Jackson as they look to fill TO's shoes with a playmaker which they sorely need right now. They also desperately need linebackers, and if Ernie Sims was also available I would have considered him too. Though traditionally, LB is not a position the Eagles pour a lot of resources into. They typically seem content to try to pair a strong secondary with a deep defensive line, and then just get average LBs with some speed. They have shown a tendency to draft WRs in the first round in the recent past (Freddie Mitchell, and then Reggie Brown just last year). They did sign Jabar Gaffney to pair with Reggie Brown and Todd Pinkston, but at this point I think Andy Reid knows that a playmaker would make a big difference for the Eagles. Winston Justice would also be an attractive option for the Eagles if he falls to them. Runyan and Tra Thomas are both cemented at the T spots for now, but in the past the Eagles have not been afraid to spend early picks on depth, allowing the young guys to grow into their roles (Lito Shepperd and Sheldon Brown were both drafted while Bobby Taylor and Troy Vincent were still starters). dmek25 04-06-2006, 10:53 PM i read where tra thomas might retire due to an on going back problem(sorry,no link) Redskins8588 04-07-2006, 12:40 AM I was torn when I saw that the Eagles had taken Chad Jackson, I really feel that Denver will still get him, but if they dont I think that they will go after DeAngelo Williams. Everyone knows that Shanahan likes his RB's, and with the departure of M. Anderson and the slow development of T. Bell I think that Shanahan will take Williams. I seriously considered S. Holmes from OSU, but I think that he may slide down and if not I think that Denver can get a decent WR in the 2nd round. Also, from what I have researched about Williams, he sounds like a back in which the system will amplify his talents, much like that of Clinton Portis... diehardskin2982 04-07-2006, 12:42 AM those miami guys must have some great gms SmootSmack 04-07-2006, 01:00 AM I was torn when I saw that the Eagles had taken Chad Jackson, I really feel that Denver will still get him, but if they dont I think that they will go after DeAngelo Williams. Considering the success Shanahan has had with running backs in the later rounds why did you guys decide to draft a back so high in the draft this time? ...I'm going to need some more "reporters" for the all-new WPSN's mock draft coverage.
