All right, let me ask you this. If some thugs stole Joe Gibbs' car, or his ATV, would he A) Call the police and let them handle or B) Go straight into the hood and try to beat the sh*t out or those he thinks stole it?

In other words, Skins players have to be thinking: What Would Joe Do?

Sure Joe Gibbs would probably call the police. But in the heat of the moment people are capable of many, many things. But to your point, I think it's safe to say Joe would call the police.

But the reality is they aren't Joe....so why should they be thinking what would Joe do? In fact, none of his players from the past ( 1st era) stopped to think that when they got involved in drugs and other illicit activities.

Do you always ask yourself that with regard to your present employer when making questionable decisions? I know I don't.

Good point. I'm just saying that Sean Taylor is building a good reputation as a safety and a thug. I wish he'd stay out of trouble. Something tells me this court case won't be the last of his legal problems.

True. But I think he's building a good reputation as a saftey...and a "perception" as a thug. Obviously, he's been in the wrong place more than once since joining the team.

We've seen plenty for "ourselves" to validate his being a good NFL safety. Most of his off-the field issues have been reported or made known via third parties, which in my opinion, and I'm speaking for me only, lends itself to creating a negative image/perception of him as an individual.

A felony follows you for life. One should never ever accept any changes beyond a misdemeanor, and even that should be avoided at all cost.

You know what will follow him longer than a felony. Being able to fufill and restructure a 40 million dollar contract.
