Shocking, frankly. He's worth a lot more than that. No complaints tho.

Nice job by FO and Evans is worth that and most likey more!!!
I love the fact we're headed into '06 with some nice depth on the defensive line for a change.
Our lack of depth really hurt us in '05 when Griffin and Salave'a were banged up.

Even with Evans, we would still hurt if Griffin and/or Salave'a went down for any length of time. So far, I would say the front office's attention paid to the D-line is about average -- which is par for the course every offseason.

oh course it'd hurt if griffin went down. he's a starter and probably our best defensive player. You can't have stud players 3 deep at every position. Its part of the trade off of having a salary cap.

Of course, anybody that loses their top two DT's would be hurting, but at least this year Wynn is more than capable of filling in at DT and DE, Evans is back and more experienced and able to fill in at all line spots, the addition of Carter should work wonders in terms of generating a pass rush off the edge, and we still have some valuable rotation guys in Boschetti, Clemons, and Killings.
I definitely think the Skins have addressed the DL much better than they have in recent years.

I really think that even if Carter doesn't put up huge sack numbers, his pressure will allow more turnovers in general.
