how about the redskins picking a
outside lineBacker in this draft.
One person i think they should
take a look at,is the kid from
UTEP,his name is thomas howard
good size about 6:2ht and about
233lbs and runs a high 4.4 Dash

thatguy,any info on this guy?

Strengths:
Amazing athlete with rare speed for the position...Has fluid hips and does a tremendous job when dropping into coverage...Has a great burst and closes fast...Terrific in space and makes plays sideline-to-sideline...Big hitter who will light people up...Changes direction well...Is an excellent pass rusher on the blitz...Very productive...Team leader and hard worker with top intangibles.

Weaknesses:
Gets by on his athleticism and lacks great instincts, which are essential for a linebacker...Can do a better job as a tackler...Struggles when taking on bigger blockers...Needs to hit the weights and get stronger...Doesn't react on the field as quickly as you'd like...Still developing and is not yet a finished product.

Began his career with the Miners as a walk-on safety...Father was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in 1977 cousin was a member of the musical group En Vogue...A true workout warrior whose measurables are almost off the charts.

He is projected to be a high to mid
2nd round pick,with tremendous
athletic ability,very good in pass
coverage,very good speed and very
big upside,only question is the level
of competition he played at utep.
All my draft books are high on him..

sounds like a good prospect, but we need someone to fill in now for him because of it saying that he still needs work

or we looking at drafting a starter or a project?if a starter,then he might be a reach

I am not sure what we are looking at drafting, but I do know that with out LaVar we need to either draft a starter, sign a starter, or hopefully C. Clemons is the starter...

I dont really see us signing another FA and I kinda think that Clemons can be our starter, but we still need depth which we have with Holdman and McCune...

So we have some good options come draft day...

Sounds a lot like someone who gave us back money to leave the team...

thats kinda what I was thinking, but the difference is that this guy still has time to change...

he's not a bad guy, but by draft day jon alston may actually be ranked higher. We already have 3-4 project/potential LB starters (and they're all young), so my guess would be unless we're pretty sure we're getting a guy that can start soon, we'll keep options open. If one of the best CBs falls or something that supercedes everything ;)
