21 NE WR Santonio Holmes (OSU)
22 DEN RB DeAngelo Williams (MEM)
23 TAM CB Antonio Cromartie (FSU)
24 CIN FS Jimmy Williams(CB) (VT)
25 NYG CB Kelly Jennings (MIA)
26 CHI CB Richard Marshall (FRESNO)
27 CAR RB LenDale White (USC)
28 JAC TE Marcedes Lewis (UCLA)
29 NYJ OC Nick Mangold (OSU)
30 IND RB Larence Maroney (MINN)
31 SEA CB Ashton Youboty (OSU)
32 PIT WR Sinorice Moss (MIA)
quick breakdown:
O: 15
QB 3
WR 3 (all speed)
TE 2
RB 4 (1 power)
OT 2
OC 1
D: 17
DT 2 (1 NT, 1 gap rusher)
DE 2 (1 DE, 1 DE/LB)
OLB 3
DB 10 (3 S/CB, 1 FS, 6 CBs)
originally 7 LBs were projected to go in the 1st, but it looks like the CBs have completely taken over. 1999 was the best recent draft for CBs (Champ, MCCalister, Bly, F Bryant in the 1st (and a FS (Antuan Edwards) that's only backup material)... I didn't see any recent NFL draft (or 2006 mock) with more than 6 DBs in round 1 though, so I was a little surprised with how much changed since his last article. Hali or MK (DEs) might even fall to the mid/late 2nd.
