I just purchased the Fantasy League 2004 Source Book and they have Ifeanyi Ohalete ranked #3 in the NFL! Does anyone understand this logic? There is no reason listed for the rankings.
Top Defensive Backs in NFL - Ohalete?SKINS73 05-06-2004, 06:23 PM I just purchased the Fantasy League 2004 Source Book and they have Ifeanyi Ohalete ranked #3 in the NFL! Bergman14 05-06-2004, 06:40 PM its got to be a mistake, or you are reading it wrong Drift Reality 05-06-2004, 06:40 PM Who is ranked #1 and #2? Ade Jimoh and Todd Franz? SKINS73 05-06-2004, 07:01 PM I wish I could scan it for you guys: DB #1 - Brian Russell #2 - Rodney Harrison I know I'm reading it right because the linebackers and defensive lineman are listed next to the DBs and: LB Ray Lewis #1 Jamie Sharper #2 DL Michael Strahan #1 Adewale Ogunleye #2 SKINSnCANES 05-06-2004, 07:10 PM Thats weird... of all the other DBs in the league. Definitly something weird about that. SKINSnCANES 05-06-2004, 07:11 PM When I first read the thread I thought it was going to say hes the third best safety left in free agency. which would make more sense SKINS73 05-06-2004, 07:17 PM Some other questionable Redskin ratings are: Matt Bowen #5 - DB LaVar Arrignton #37 - LB I used this magazine last year as a fantasy reference... I am questioning whether or not I wasted my $10!! Sheriff Gonna Getcha 05-06-2004, 07:30 PM Ohalete turned the ball over enough times (and he had what the 3rd most tackles on the team - behing Trotter and Arrington). So, for fantasy purposes, Ohalete is a good DB. I still think he's better than Bowen. itvnetop 05-06-2004, 07:43 PM really great defensive backs are never any good in fantasy- they don't get thrown too often enough (bailey, etc) skins009 05-06-2004, 08:28 PM Ohalete turned the ball over enough times (and he had what the 3rd most tackles on the team - behing Trotter and Arrington). So, for fantasy purposes, Ohalete is a good DB. I still think he's better than Bowen. I agree, I think that Ohalete is better than bowens. One senario i was thinking of was in some cases we could use Ohalete as another linebacker and have bowens in was well. Thats some hard hitting people in at the same time. |
