ok so you are using the hybrid mode, I've always just used the linear mode so I'm not familiar with the way threads are displayed in that box.

That could be a change they made with the new version, I've tried to find someone else with that issue but I haven't been able to, so that makes me think it's not a glitch. If you want to search yourself try http://www.vbulletin.org

I fixed it. I changed my thread view to another view, saved it, changed it back to linear, saved it, now its back to the way it was. Seems, even though linear was (and always has been) selected in my options, the hybrid view was what I was actually getting.

I guess that's the way the hybrid mode is supposed to be:

Glad you got it fixed

I have never selected the hybrid mode. Something went screwy. I noticed the little nesting box show up a few days ago, but didn't notice that the order of the posts were different until yesterday. The only reason I noticed the order being different was because I would look at a thread on the front page (noticing who the last poster was), enter the thread, scroll all the way down and realize that that person was not being shown as the last (most recent) poster.

That's weird, the default view for everyone is the linear mode. Not sure what made yours switch to the hybrid mode.

The thing is, when I went to my options, my selected view was linear. Craziness.

Actually it does make sense, you have to wait 30 seconds between searches, so you wouldn't be able to make that next search until 1 second after the 30 seconds are up, or 31 seconds total.
