Clarence E. Hill Jr., of the Star-Telegram, reports the Carolina Panthers (http://www.kffl.com/team/10/nfl) have agreed to a four-year deal with free agent WR Keyshawn Johnson (http://www.kffl.com/player/1836/nfl) (Cowboys). Johnson received a $5 million signing bonus.
so he's not going back to the cowboys, which is a good thing. he does make the panthers better though.

Ha ha ha ha ha. He is old and can't back up anything that comes out of his mouth. I am surprised that the Panthers would sign T.O. without the talent. They must be worried about their stagnant team.

he's still a good receiver and a good #2. he can put up 800 yard seasons and blocks on running plays. He'll also be a HUGE upgrade over what they had, and they can still stick drew carter in the slot.

I don't think this is a bad move. He's not a great player, obviously, but everyone knows that. He comes is an upgrade to that receiving corps which was a lot like ours last season. They had Steve Smith and everybody else. Now, Keyshawn's not gonna go for 1200 yards, maybe not even 1000 but he won't be bad with Smith and he'll take pressure off of Keary Colbert who better step up.

Steve Smith and Key...which is no different from Steve Smith and Moose.

I was thinking that Keyshawn is their way of getting a guy like Muhsin, but he's nowhere near the receiver Mushin is at this point in his career compared to Keyshawn.

moose is better than key, though both are on the downside. they are somewhat alike on the field.

Ummm. Has anyone forgotten how this guy acts on the sidelines? Why would you want that out of a good player let alone a mediocre one.
Hey That guy, remember, 34, downside of his career etc...

So in other words he is an old Rod Gardner. Good to know.
