NFL | C. Poston sues NFLPA
Thu, 23 Mar 2006 16:13:17 -0800
The Associated Press reports agent Carl Poston has sued the NFLPA (http://www.kffl.com/link/194) and is challenging the two-year suspension he was given for the handling of free agent LB LaVar Arrington (http://www.kffl.com/player/1917/nfl)'s (Redskins) contract extension in 2003 with the Washington Redskins (http://www.kffl.com/team/37/nfl). The lawsuit was filed Monday, March 20, in U.S. District Court in Manhattan. The lawsuit claims the disciplinary action was not handled as mandated by the union's rules and was filed beyond the one-year limit set by those rules. Poston argues that either he or his lawyer should have been allowed to appear before the disciplinary committee to contest the accusations and an independent arbitrator should have handled the dispute.

figured these were very redksin related. LA won't be back in dallas for sure now.

Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports free agent OG Larry Allen (Cowboys) signed a two-year contract with the San Francisco 49ers believed to be worth between $4 million and $5 million per year. The deal is contingent upon Allen passing a physical and then signing the contract.

at least he's getting paid... or that's what i would have said, if i cared.

The Girls just lost their best lineman, that is awesome. All of these idiots who have praised the Cowboys offseason must have forgotten what happens to teams with poor offensive lines.

they did sign fabini from the jets (OT) and kyle kosier (OT) from the lions.

Who cares. Significant turnover on the o-line is a bad thing and the last time I checked both of those teams were/are terrible.

well, it kinda kills the "boys are ignoring their line" thing, but just cause a team is terrible, that doesn't automatically mean all their players are crap.

I agree with That Guy the cowboys are improving at least on paper. They probably want to go in a different direction. You are right about line turnover though. Sometimes things just don't gel and there is no chemistry. I think we have experienced this in the not so recent past.

So you are saying there line is better now, or do you just like to disagree with everything I say? The last thing the Cowboys needed was to shuffle up their O-line with a couple of average players. Smarten' up.

Fabini is pretty darn good. Kosier has never been much, but I would venture to say their O-Line is improved because Rob Petitti isn't starting anymore...that guy was terrible.

They have never played together so I don't think that is a safe assumption. Also, I don't think it is a guarantee that Petitti won't be starting for them. You think some clown off of the Lions is going to be a guaranteed starter?

What am I missing here?
