Jerry will need substancial reconstructive facial surgery to iron out the TO wrinkles in his pelt! I'm a little shocked at Parcells for allowing this. I hope ST is sticking pins in his TO voodoo doll as we speak

Dear Drew,

Congratulations on your new number 1 wide receiver. We are confident he is going to do to you, we mean do for you, what he has done for us. We look forward to catching up with you and seeing how well it is working out for the two of you when you come to visit the two of us in Philly.

Your Fellow QBs,

Donavan and Jeff

P.S. Keep a copy of that quote from Rosenhaus saying, “These guys have fallen in love already. On the jet here the bond they established was moving ... moving.” It may come in handy when, we mean if, he calls you gay.

It's only a matter of time before we start hearing about how this one move makes the Cowboys the favorite in the division.

I still shake my head in wonder over last season and how some mediots just wouldn't get off the Cowboys' jock... even when it was painfully obvious they just weren't a playoff caliber team.

I can still remember after our 35-7 beatdown on them Sean Salisbury remarking that the Cowboys were still going to make the playoffs, despite the fact at that time we held the tie breaker over them.

the best part about the site is the survey at the bottom right. Question: How important is a touchdown celebration? Almost 60% of the douchebags on the site say "It makes the game". Ahhhh, i love it!

i say the virus will start taking effect next offseason. Reason being, in the beginning, it's all good, but he will show his true colors eventually.

he's getting paid a lot of money, so maybe he'll be alright, i don't know though... i doubt he's learned anything and bledsoe isn't as good as mcnabb, so i don't see how a QB/WR blowout can be avoided.

Define "a lot of money". You'd figure in that 49 million is "a lot of money". Apparantly that wasn't good enough for him. That's an average of 7 million a year. if 7 million a year isn't a lot of money, he must be on crack. I doubt he's learned anything new right now too. He's probably singing his little rap song on the way to the bank. What's the over/under that once T.O. becomes displeased with Bledsoe, he starts cracking jokes about playing with a brokeback cowboy?

that 49mill contract was backloaded, and he got 3mill the second year. this year he'll make 10mill and then 8 and 7 mill if he stays on the team. Its definately a lot more money than his last contract (which every analyst thought was a bad deal for him).

i agree. at least the eagles had a pretty good supporting cast. the cowboys really dont. they have no running game to speak of and not much at WR. with TO being the only talent and the only one that teams need to plan for, hes going to bitch about not getting the ball, blah blah blah.

After winning big gambles in real estate and digging for oil wells, he put it all on the line to buy the Cowboys in 1989. Since then, he's fired Tom Landry, forced out Jimmy Johnson, entrusted a championship club to Barry Switzer and given Deion Sanders a $13 million signing bonus.

Jones felt pretty good about his choices when the Cowboys won their third Super Bowl in a four-year span. But that was 1995; Dallas has won only one playoff game since.

He's lost other big gambles along the way, from sticking with Switzer to hiring Chan Gailey, then Dave Campo as head coaches. He's also risked public scorn by releasing franchise icons Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith.

Irvin's off-field woes are the local precedent for taking on Owens.

I really liked that part ;)I realy don't get your post. Jones has won three SB's as owner of the Cowboys. When they did give Deion 13 mil he could still perform on the field. What did we pay him for doing nothing? Troy retired from Lavars hit. Emmitt needed to retire but he still wanted to play and chose to play for another team. With the cap sometimes you have to let go of franchise players who still want to play. With the way that they have structured Owens deal they can cut him next year with no cap hit. I would not want Owen's on the skins but they did a great job on his contract so if Owen's does start problems they can get rid of him. Oh, and when they fired Landry it ticked off alot of diehard Cowboy fans at the time but if you would have asked any Cowboys fans 7 or 8 years later they would say it was the right move. I'm not defending Jones but he has not done all that bad.
