Who's Improved Their Team the Most? (Other than Skins)

I'm going with the Browns as well. The Rams were probably a healthy Marc Bulger away from being a playoff contender. The Fins were a QB away from making the playoffs. But the Browns were a million miles away from any hope of a playoff appearance. With all of their FA additions, they have to be considered a wildcard contender. They've strengthened both lines and I love the addition of Jurivicious. Whether they have a QB that can get the job done remains to be seen, but I think the moves they made are certainly in the right direction.

I think Miami has improved their team the most not just by adding a happy Daunte but by bringing in both Capers and Mularkey. Both guys are respected and I haven't read too much about either one being difficult to work with. I hope Daunte realizes that as good as Chambers is he's not the alley-oop receiver that Randy Moss. He has great hands and he'll go get it but he won't outjump everyone around him.

Minnesota seems to be on the right track. Their O-line needed the biggest overhaul. Same with Arizona. Has Jacksonville done anything yet? San Francisco is doing a good job playing the part of Redskins farm club. Thanks for getting Lloyd and Carter ready for the Big Show!

The Bears would have been the most improved team, if we would have let them sign anyone they wanted.

The Browns by far, in my opinion. They should be very competitive next year.

Who ever signs Arrington and Ramsey will have done better than most teams and the big winner will be whoever signs Taylor Jacobs.

Gil Brandt commented on this on nfl.com (http://www.nfl.com/news/story/9310144). His list in order was

Cleveland with O-lineman signings and Joe Jeruvicius
Washington
Dallas with LB Akin Ayodele and guard Kyle Kosier, both starters
Minnesota if they sign Hutchinson from Seattle.
I would add Miami and New Orleans to that list with their upgrade at QB. However, it take a good half season or more before the quarterback is really effective.

Well now that the Jets have Ramsey, I guess the answer unequivicably is the New York Jets

Herman Edwards is regretting his move to KC now
