MTK 03-16-2006, 12:09 PM how horrific is this?! http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006120434,00.html PWNED 03-16-2006, 12:23 PM wow, thats insane. let that be a lesson to anyone who needs a few bucks and wants to test drugs. MTK 03-16-2006, 01:19 PM Stick with the safe drugs like grass ;) That Guy 03-16-2006, 01:32 PM damn. That Guy 03-16-2006, 01:33 PM reminds me of a quote: "Everytime I read one of these articles with a breakthrough in treating a deadly disease or severe disability, I have to say to myself that it's surely a wonderful time to be a mouse!" JoeRedskin 03-16-2006, 01:44 PM Truly a horrific experience. I hope all make a full recovery although that sounds doubtful. I found the comments afterword to offer an interesting range of opinions on testing. JWsleep 03-16-2006, 02:18 PM Yikes... Note to self--avoid drugs that turn you into elephant-man like blob... That Guy 03-16-2006, 02:33 PM a lot of drug testers either want extra money or don't really have a job. there's lots of story of them going kinda nuts or having weird side effects develop :( if you don't have a lot of money it seems like a ton (and its a pittance to the drug co's), but its really not safe at all (even though they try to limit risks). I wonder if the drug co is going to pay the families and full medical and life costs if these guys manage to live... cause they're probabyl never going to work normal jobs again. Monksdown 03-16-2006, 03:14 PM who signs up for this s? i mean really. That Guy 03-16-2006, 03:48 PM who signs up for this s? i mean really. people who need money more than they need their health :( |
