Super Bowl!!!
Your expectations/predictions for the 2006 RedskinsSkins_4_Lyfe 03-15-2006, 12:02 PM Super Bowl!!! PWNED 03-15-2006, 12:04 PM im definitely feeling the defense will be back in top form again. id love to see us draft a DL guy or two (maybe with Ramseys pick). Archuleta will give us a great blitz from the safety position as well as Carter from de. Drago 03-15-2006, 12:05 PM I see 13-3, possibly 14-2 Make your reservations for Miami Portis should get MVP this year I agree with everybody else, there is a good chance Brunnell won't play the whole season That Guy 03-15-2006, 12:06 PM I was counting on that. Otherwise I would have predicted 6 - 10. so with everyone returning and 3 offensive upgrades, 2 defensive upgrades, an OC upgrade, and a couple ST upgrades, and a MASSIVELY easier schedule, we're somehow going to suddenly get much much much worse for no apparent reason? Big C 03-15-2006, 12:13 PM 19-0 Huddle 03-15-2006, 12:14 PM so with everyone returning and 3 offensive upgrades, 2 defensive upgrades, an OC upgrade, and a couple ST upgrades, and a MASSIVELY easier schedule, we're somehow going to suddenly get much much much worse for no apparent reason? 1. There's no such thing as a MASSIVELY easy or difficult schedule anymore. You've heard of Parity? It's working. 2. I gave you two very good reasons that our record might not get better despite the improvment. Brunell doesn't fit and Campbell is green. 3. Never said the team was much much much worse. Those were your words. The overall talent on the team is certainly better. Master4Caster 03-15-2006, 12:19 PM 11-5 or 12-4. Split with Giants; sweep Cowboys; Eagles are a huge unknown. Colts, Panthers and Jaguars on schedule are a concern. As of today, I see the conference championship. Lloyd, Randle-El, Fauria haven't picked up a playbook yet. Looks good, but games are not played on paper. They are played on television. MVP is Clinton Portis, but Brunell will be huge and Patton will be improved. If Jason Campbell is the starter, then we will lose the first playoff game. Inexperience is inexperience. That Guy 03-15-2006, 12:25 PM 1. 1. we had the #2 hardest schedule in the NFL last year. this year it might be closer to 15-20. that would be massively easier. 2. brunell does fit. If they're going to completely change the offense with total disregard to the guy on the field, then the coaches are idiots and we have no reason to pay them millions a year. 3. i never said you did, but thought i'd throw it out there since it wasn't mentioned. Figured it might offset whatever deficiencies you might see. PSUSkinsFan21 03-15-2006, 12:31 PM 1. Both O and D are ranked in the top 5 overall at the end of the year. 2. Al Saunders' O makes Brunell look like he's got 10 more years in the tank. 3. Trip to Miami. 4. Minimum 12 regular season wins. 5. Jason Campbell remains painfully behind the learning curve and never sees the field. 6. Moss, Brunell, Portis, Cooley, Samuels, Jansen, Thomas, Griffin, Springs, and Washington all go to Hawaii. 7. ST marks "6 months down, 102 to go" in chalk on his prison wall. PSUSkinsFan21 03-15-2006, 12:33 PM Why doesn't Brunell fit Al Saunders' offense but Trent Green did? |
