I had already heard a rumor that the cowboys were already trying to get the saints pick,with the saints signing bree's this could mean the saints would be willing to trade with the boys so the boys could draft young {discuss}

It'd be great for them, and bad for us I'm afraid. I'm usually VERY hard on QB prospects, but I really think Young is the real deal. Might not be a genius, but the guy knows football, he knows the QB position, and he knows how to win. Period.

I can bet my life that this will not happen. Both Jerry Jones and Parcells want to win now. Young is a project that will take a couple of years to develope. The last thing Parcells wants to do is develope a quaterback. There looking for a super bowl run.

you think you can tell me what and what not to discuss? PLEASE
;)
seriously though, it would probably be a good move, bledsoe isnt getting any younger. they really need a good QB.

What would they give up? For the #2 pick it would have to be pretty substantial wouldn't it?

thats what im thinking. a couple picks this year, and i really dont think they have any bait on the FA side of things to trade.

I am not sure Parcells would take Young over Leinert. Leinert has run a pro style offense for the last 3 years and likes his type of QB. Pocket passer, not a mobile guy who dances around and runs all over the field. Plus Jerry hasn't had much luck in drafting QBs lately. Quincy Carter, Hutchinson, Henson. He may be a little gun shy when it comes to drafting another QB, especially that high. I think they have other needs, like RB. I hear Parcells isn't all that impressed w/ Julius Jones either. I think Cutler will end up being the better QB. I am just not impressed with Youngs ability to throw the ball, and not that impressed with Leinerts arm strength. Cutler seems to have it all, runs mid to high 4's in the 40's, and an excellent arm.

may be true, but drafting people because he is from your state doesn't win ball games.

If the Cowboys were to end up with the Saints pick, Matt would scare me more as their QB pick over Vince. Maybe not on '06 but beyond. Matt is the real deal in an NFL Pro style system. Vince could be great or horrible.
