Sometimes though you think people are giving you crap when they're not. Case in point:

I think I gave a pretty normal response to your question here, I didn't give you crap:

You apparently took it the wrong way

Matty stepped in

And you REALLY took that the wrong way

I'm not questioning your loyalty to the Redskins or the value you can bring to our discussions. But you can't take things so personally.

that was awesome

point taken. I guess I will have to make more sense to you. or should I just agree with what you say to avoid this arguement everytime I post something?

You're still taking it a bit too personal, #56fanatic. When you write something I don't agree with, I will post my disagreement. I like to debate things, sometimes very fervently. But that doesn't mean I have a problem with your opinions. If you post something and I don't agree, I'm going to say so. But if you want to avoid having this argument in the future, you should just debate the subject at hand without taking my disagreement personally.

Just because I disagree, that doesn't mean I think you're dumb. It just means I think you're wrong. And nobody anointed me god of all things right and wrong. It's just me going point counterpoint, so take that at face value, and not so personally.

My arguement isn't a football one. It is a business and fan relations one (fan relations is an area where I am extremely down on Skins management).

They sold us this player super hard. Millions of loyal Skins fans drank the #56 Kool Aid. Then they decided to go totally Brokeback Mountain on him, and in turn, us the fans.

The problem isn't that Mommy and Daddy split up, the problem is that it was a really nasty break up with lots of screaming and yelling and everything else short of being featured on an episode of COPS. Now we're all afraid they don't love us any more.

Players move on. We'll get over it. It is just unfortunate that it had to go down this way -- because of things that happened on both sides. It simply didn't need to happen like this.

OK see I just don't understand that one bit. Fan relations?? Who the frick cares!? The whole reason to be a fan of individual players in the first place is because they play for your TEAM! You would rather hate on management for not trying to make it work, rather than appreciate them for doing what is in the best interests of the team going forward?

You don't try to make things work just for keeping up fan relations. That would be seriously misplacing your priorities. We cut Arrington because his cap room helps the team more than keeping him would. That's management's way of doing what it takes to win more games. That should be the fans' #1 priority, wins. Not relations with a certain player, or the marketability of that player.

I get the feeling that Lavar's release has angered a lot of people solely because they purchased his jersey, and now they feel like their purchase is worthless. And if that's the case, I'd say to those people that they need to get their priorities straight.

All I have to say is ... a LOT of people here need to get laid. Quit getting into pissing matches, smoke a bong, and chill out. Jeeez.

PS - It's funny that the people who are most likely to start trash on the internet are the least likely to start trash in person.

Seriously. I love it when you see some dude peel out and you look inside the car and it's some anorexic midget with a little-man's complex.
