LaVar to the Bengals- MaybeBig C 03-14-2006, 01:14 PM id rather lavar go there than nfc Schneed10 03-14-2006, 01:16 PM I didn't know we had an english teacher out here. maybe I'll forward some of my programming papers to you to proof. My whining comes from the constant crap I get for voicing an opinion. I could care less if someone disagrees with me, I state my opinions and thats that. I might argue my opinion, sometimes I may call someone out but not all the time like you and some other people. I dont know how many times you have responded attacking my opinions or what I felt is right or wrong. I beg of you to stop, its rediculous Yeah I wouldn't want to hert yer feelings, #56Fenetic. First, I don't attack you, I attack your opinions when they don't make sense to me (and that's quite often). There is a difference, but you don't seem to see that. You're the one that makes it out to be an actual attack on you. A discussion board is meant for the expressing of opinions and debating. That includes open criticism of the opinions of others. If you can't get with that you shouldn't be here, man. It's a general rule, if you come to a message board that is viewable by the entire internet population to post an opinion that will be read by all who come across this site, then your opinion is by definition open to interpretation, support, or criticism by any who wish to respond. The second you put your opinion on the board, you're making it public. And it's the public's right to respond. How you choose to interpret that response is up to you, but apparently you're content to whine about it. Redskins_P 03-14-2006, 01:22 PM Taylor Jacobs is a bitch... I beg of you to stop, its rediculous Sometimes though you think people are giving you crap when they're not. Case in point: I think I gave a pretty normal response to your question here, I didn't give you crap: http://www.thewarpath.net/showpost.php?p=158211&postcount=146 You apparently took it the wrong way http://www.thewarpath.net/showpost.php?p=158213&postcount=147 Matty stepped in http://www.thewarpath.net/showpost.php?p=158215&postcount=148 And you REALLY took that the wrong way http://www.thewarpath.net/showpost.php?p=158216&postcount=149 I'm not questioning your loyalty to the Redskins or the value you can bring to our discussions. But you can't take things so personally. RiggoRules 03-14-2006, 01:34 PM I can't stand this argument, it just makes no sense to me. Do more to make it work? Um, we went to the playoffs with him playing one of the smallest roles on the team in his entire career last year. We needed his cap room more than we needed him, and that's the bottom line. It's not about trying hard to make things work. It's about giving the team the best chance to win. I don't care what's fair for the individual players, that's not a TEAM mentality. My arguement isn't a football one. It is a business and fan relations one (fan relations is an area where I am extremely down on Skins management). They sold us this player super hard. Millions of loyal Skins fans drank the #56 Kool Aid. Then they decided to go totally Brokeback Mountain on him, and in turn, us the fans. The problem isn't that Mommy and Daddy split up, the problem is that it was a really nasty break up with lots of screaming and yelling and everything else short of being featured on an episode of COPS. Now we're all afraid they don't love us any more. Players move on. We'll get over it. It is just unfortunate that it had to go down this way -- because of things that happened on both sides. It simply didn't need to happen like this. #56fanatic 03-14-2006, 01:43 PM Yeah I wouldn't want to hert yer feelings, #56Fenetic. I guess I will have to make more sense to you. or should I just agree with what you say to avoid this arguement everytime I post something? MTK 03-14-2006, 01:46 PM If we all agreed all the time things would be pretty boring. The point of a message board is to debate and discuss, and along with that comes disagreements. Nothing is personal unless you make it that way. #56fanatic 03-14-2006, 01:49 PM Sometimes though you think people are giving you crap when they're not. Sounds like I was in a bad mood, huh. I think maybe you just caught me in the middle of arguing with some one else and everything got blown up. I dont remember ever going after you, this schneed person seems to be on my ass ALL the time. Matty use to be, its kinda slowed down with him. (probably shouldn't have said that) I think words written(or typed) can be mistaken as hostile. Maybe I tend to take things a little more harsh than the next guy, I'll admit that. But I do get a bit bent out of shape when I post an opinion and someone who doesn't agree basically calls me a dumb ass. there are ways to disagree with someone and some people(not excluding myself) have to learn those ways. I enjoy the posts from people its interesting to see different points of views from people. freddyg12 03-14-2006, 01:52 PM My arguement isn't a football one. It simply didn't need to happen like this. Well said, this is an area where the danny needs to mature & I think he will. Where I will disagree is that Lavar & his agents brought some of this on & that's where we don't know all the details (this link is funny -http://www.pennlive.com/weblogs/pas...es/2004_03.html (http://www.pennlive.com/weblogs/pasports/index.ssf?/mtlogs/penn_campbells/archives/2004_03.html) - perhaps Lavar really thought danny was trying to curse him!). But it would do the team well on & off the field to take a less hardball stance on some things. I think Gibbs plays the good cop extra now that he works for the Danny. Gwilljest 03-14-2006, 02:05 PM At least if I post somthing such as this I will back up with a link. If you guys want to post things based on your own beliefs that is fine but at least have the common courtsey to post a link. Luxerrob this is direct at you and for you!!! http://www.daytondailynews.com/sports/content/shared/oh/bigc/stories/0314bigcweb.html LEt him go AFC- I would rather NOT see him twice a year! |
