wynn moves to DT, we don't have money to sign another big DE or a DT.

its CB #3, OL, LB and kicker/punter. I doubt we draft a DE too, since anyone in the 2nd round isn't going to be useful unlike LBs, CBs, or OL guys drafted there.

Once we cut about five other players from this roster and Ramsey signs with another team, we will have money for another DE. I don't think the Redskins would have wasted Abrahams time if they didn't work that scenario out.

are you sure JA wasn't cause carter left without a deal?

they said no more big names. and cutting ramsey + scrubs won't free up more than 3-4mill at max.

Are you familiar with Will Allen? Can you say the worse CB in the League with Terrance Newman and Walt Harris in a close second and third? Will Allen had absolutely no INT's last season and was benched and replaced by a rookie Corey Webster which is why the Giants will not resign him. Azumah has the injury bug an is considering retirement.

Will Allen a year ago was a good corner... He can probrally still play in the nickle especially when you have Taylor and Archuleta roaming the backfield. He will come very cheap because of his reputation, and can still make an impact as long as he doesn't have to cover Santana Moss one on one! It was an off year for him, atleast thats what I'm thinkin.

1. Starting Linebacker (draft?)
3. Nickel Cornerback (draft?)
3. Backup offensive line (draft)
4. Backup qb (free agency)
5. Punter (free agency)
5. Your mama (always a free agent)

we only have 1 draft pick to count on. the rest are cheap reserves that might pan out, but probably wont.

I think Monksdown is on point a bit.... I'd like to defenitely see a OLB from the draft. I see alot of talent at what we are slotted for as far as the player I'd then GW wants... The only corner/saftey I'd like to see us draft is Cromratie( Free Shoes U). He's gonna be a star. I think corners like Deshea Townsend and Andre Dyson can fit our style and flop w/ at the #2 or #3. Now I hope we dont overlook the DT spot, lock down an o lineman all through FA. Then we spend the 2nd day picks on solidifying our team. It looks good now, but a few more bodies need to come before it shapes to be a great offseason.

say hello to R Wynn, our new #2 DT. Joe S. is back as a good #3.

We can pick up a CB or OL in the draft with the second round pick. The other we need to pick up in free agency. Groom is servicable as the punter. 3rd string QB's are not that hard to find.

We still need to find a linebacker. Any ideas as to what the plan is there?

CB i'm pretty sure is going to be a FA due to the small size of a reasonable nickel corner's contract. if mitchell signs, we go LB in the draft, otherwise we go OL.

as for FA LBs, we're not getting a big name and we'd probably be picking between guys like brandon short or promoting from within. the FAs we'll probably look at are decent starters, but guys you'd always be looking to replace. we can do better than holdman though.

I think there is a LB out there that just might fit the bill! He is not a big name guy but we have a ton of big name guys on D. What we need is a player that come do the job and get better with the GW way of doing things! The guy I am talking about has played 4 years in the NFL and started at Middle LB and is 6-3 245. He lead his team in tackles with 97 on the year 72 solo and 24 ast. He seems to be a Gibbs kind of guy. Finalist for the ACC Brian Piccolo award and emi-finalist for the Dick Butkus award! So what do you think about Tommy Polley.... as Redskins LB along with Washington 6-3,247 and Marshall 6-3,227????
