Andre Carter, who it looks like we have signed or are going to sign soon is a DE turned LB. He weighs 265. Are we going to use him at DE, LB, or both?

I was thinking both but I would like him at DE

I'm think both as well, but primarily DE.

Sounds like DE if Greg Blache was walking with him at Redskins Park.

Jason La Canfora and Howard Bryant, of the Washington Post, reports free agent LB Andre Carter (49ers) completed his visit with the Washington Redskins Sunday, March 12, and left without signing a contract offer sheet from the team.

Looks like Danny actually let one walk away from the table

I really hope DE. I don't like him that much if we intend to sign to be a linebacker. I think we should plug him at DE and forget about that position for a long time. If he can return to form (which I'm sure he can) he will give us the kind of up the field pass rusher we've been lacking for the last decade.

pure DE. he's too slow to really even play rush LB in a 3-4. should be a solid DE though.

DE. he played LB one year experimentally and was rather average

I still think he's a crybaby, but might be why carter left without a deal...
