he'll play dend in rotation between Daniels wynn and himself. Might see Daniels in the interior line more also

So if Carter is playing the End, who do we get for OLB? Is Julien Petersen a sersious candidate?

Andre Carter, who it looks like we have signed or are going to sign soon is a DE turned LB. He weighs 265. Are we going to use him at DE, LB, or both?
That's a good question...I almost forgot that we need to replace Lavar. I think he's more of a force at the DE postition.

no, i imagine the money will be out, so either dale lindsey believes mccune/clemons/khary can do it or we'll have to settle for a good backup from the 2nd or 3rd tier of free agency to fill in.

I think you'll see him at DE if he signs. I don't doubt that he could play LB in some formations but that would depend on Greg Williams trust. Hope he signs later today!

Notice how Carter's sacks have decreased since they have gone 3-4. I would assume that his natural postition is DE, and we need that more than lbs.

he's really to slow to be a linebacker, even in a 3-4 at rush LB, much less a 4-3.

I'm sure Carter can rush the passer, but how is he in run-defense? 265 lbs for DE seems little on a light side.
