Poston is pushing the rumor that a "dozen" teams are interested in Lavar. This may be true because many owners would love to show Snyder up if Lavar could break out. How many football people have an interest may be another story.

I really don't think that is the case that owners would love to show up Snyder. If Arrington could help any team better that is the way they[owners] would look at it! Arrington needs to learn how to play on a team style D. This NFL type of D counts on each player doing his job. It is not LT type D play these days. I think Miami would be a good fit for Lavar!

That is a pretty expensive way to try and get even with Snyder. I don't see any grudges getting involved in this.

That hasn't been my impression of Saban's program so far. Miami would be a good spot for him. They have had a great defense for years.

maybe. geoege is the guy who was terrible here and let players run rampant and do whatever they wanted though, hence the #25 ranking :(

Saban is a defensive coach his fingerprints will be all over their defense.

Mike Garafolo, of the Star-Ledger, reports free agent LB LaVar Arrington (Redskins) had several meetings with New York Giants coaches and members of the front office as well as taking a physical. His agent, Carl Poston, said late Sunday afternoon, March 12, that the two sides had yet to begin contract discussions. Poston was waiting to get a full report from Arrington before deciding to talk numbers with the Giants. Poston said eight other teams are interested in Arrington, but Arrington has not scheduled any more visits.

I think Lavar wants to end up in the NFC east. He'll take the Gmen over Philly or Dallas. I do think Miami will swoon him, but the Gmen have playoff possiblities next season. Miami for all purposes does not. Final decision will be money, but don't think he'd love to have a shot on Brunell. GL to Lavar and to everyone's #56 jerseys!
