I mentioned him... I think he was the best FA safety. I'd be interested to hear his contract numbers though. much better than AA and the rams are winning the offseason right now.
monster DT (stopgap, still good)
centerfield S (plenty of years left, smart, quality guy)
He got 16 million for five years....first three years it said in the AP he will get about 4 million annually the first three years. Hope that helps! :)

I was good with Stevens for most of his time with the club. What are Archuleta's strengths?
huge for a safety, hits hard, plays the run well and can handle the super heavy running backs (remember alstot blasting clark backwards?).

damn... yeah thanks, it just makes me depressed we didn't make an attempt on him. I think GW is going for a fear based defense though where no one wants to catch the ball.

I don't want Archuletta or Randle-El.
For the love of God will they sign a pass rusher...

The issue that I have with Archuleta is simply that he can't cover. I like to watch him light people up, but I think I could create separation on Adam Archuleta
Lenny P. Says:
Big hitter who has averaged 77.4 tackles for his career, but will whiff on some tackles and too often takes bad angles. Has five times as many sacks as interceptions (15-3) and has to play in a scheme that gets him close to the line of scrimmage to be most effective.
I don't know about you guys but Gary Williams is probablty going nuts trying to get this guy.

My bad. Gregg Williams lol. Sorry I'm still a little upset from that BC game yesterday.

centerfield S (plenty of years left, smart, quality guy)I'm hating the fact that we didn't agressively try to sign Kemoeatu. But the more I think about it Greg 'Williams does pretty well with younger guys whereas Gibbs likes veteran on offense. Of course they're exceptions, possibly we'll draft a CB and a DT or S in the draft?
